Wow, talk about downgrade in lighting. Damn shame.
Of more concern is how this affects gameplay. From made a lot of noise talking about their lighting system and that torches will play an integral role in dark areas. The Beta did have some complaints about how dark some areas were, but I didn't expect From to revert that design choice to such an extent. Apparently torches are hardly needed now, going by the early players, and that makes me wonder if From managed to rebalance most of the encounters to not needing a torch anymore, that too in a handful of months.
Hahaha that trailer is so amateurish it's hilarious. Why is marketing always so bad?
we want call of duty audience?

A bit of a shame.Anyway,if Bamco sends it to your workplace snatch the PC version review copy too and let us know if anything changes.I can confirm that while you can use torches, and set other beacons on fire with them, it is not needed because the levels are not too dark.
i woudnt pay 100bucks for any game. 40 more bucks for shitty figure and artbook that is already leaked? nopeOk I'm trying not to read too much of your posts now because it's getting a bit too specific for me but quick question. I got the Collector's Edition for the PS3 version of this game but now I'm wondering if I should keep it or not from some of these early reviews. Can anyone tell me if it's still worth it?
What can I say I like physical things. Granted I don't give a damn about that figure but for everything else why not.i woudnt pay 100bucks for any game. 40 more bucks for shitty figure and artbook that is already leaked? nopeOk I'm trying not to read too much of your posts now because it's getting a bit too specific for me but quick question. exactly, i would make a better trailer by editing random bits of gameplay and music in 2-3 hoursWhat the fuck is this? It's like a shitty youtube video made by a 12 year old.
Equip the ring!Matters of life and death
- There is a ring players can discover early on that makes players lose less of their health bar when they die.
The NG versions of bosses are balanced around the limitations (eg stamina) that a player would have in that point in the game. They get new moves and attack more aggressively in NG+ because those factors aren't as limiting when you're a higher level.
Don't burn a bonfire ascetic on the Lost Sinner unless you're nearly capped on ADP and END
bet the lighting will still look fine on the PC versionno reason for it not to, anyway.
