It looks like each glowing segment of the hour glass is around 10 minutes. That's still too long imo.
The combat pacing is indeed faster, more like it was in Demon's Souls. Sounds fine to me since Demon's had better combat than Dark Souls 1.Something seems...off. I'm not sure if its just the video but everything seem a lot faster. I hope they are not trying to "improve" the pacing of the game.

You're right about that, DS2 actually has a new stat called Agility. Not sure what all it affects, but I'm guessing stuff like attack, dodge and sprint speed.The combat pacing is indeed faster, more like it was in Demon's Souls. Actually, I think it's just the swing speed of weapons that has gotten faster, but the pause between each swing is also slightly longer compared to Dark souls 1. Demon's Souls had faster animations overall.
Quick question: Are there actually invincibility frames during rolldodge or does your hitbox just shrink during the animation? 'coz when fighting the bell gargoyles, if you roll sideways but up the roof, the gargoyles horizontal swing will most definitley get you...
