Temple of Trials, or Irenicus' Dungeon, or ToEE Moathouse, or Peragus?

Which of the following do you like best?

Irenicus dungeon is the best one.

At least Temple of Trials is short, and then you get a good game to play, whereas Peragus is an agonizing slog and then the game continues to be boring until you finish it. Peragus is definitely the worst opening and the worst game on the list.

Irenicus's Dungeon because it only takes about an hour if you bother to do the Djinn and the Wand-traps.

I love the Moathouse, personally. Never gets old.

Temple of Trials is pretty much pointless. But it's not horrible.

Haven't played BG2 in about 5 years but I remember Irenicus' dungeon being diverse and interesting. Don't like IE combat, though.

Haven't played KotOR 2.

Of course none of the above can hold a candle to Oblivion's Imperial City Sewers.

Agreed 100%, but I voted Temple of Trials because speed is everything for a mandatory tutorial sequence.

Moathouse is a great starter dungeon with interesting tactical scenarios, hidden stuff, reactivity (especially with Co8) and plot importance.

Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Codex Year of the Donut Pathfinder: Wrath
Irenicus' dungeon is a good dungeon and an EXCELLENT introduction to the main villain.

From the replay value perspective, I suppose it could be a bit shorter. Everyone wants to get to the open part ASAP.

Missing Mortuary option. Voted ToT because it's quick on any subsequent playthrough.

Moathouse was an actual challenge but I dislike low-level D&D, especially 3.5.

Temple of trials because it literally takes 5 minutes, if it takes you longer then that you're probably retarded.

Irenicus dungeon is fine the first time through, but annoying whenever I've done it since then.

Moathouse is like....15% of the game? It's also not a tutorial dungeon there's a bunch of content before it.

Kotor 2 tutorial area is genuinely the worst. It's easily longer then tot and irenicus combined and legitimately sucks dick.

At the end of both you'll find good loot.
The djinn gives you a +2 two handed sword and the wand trap has a +1 ring of protection at the end of it.

Well technically it is? It's the first dungeon in the game, has a lil bit of everything and serves to test your party, allowing you to try out various skills/abilities. I'd totally call it a tutorial dungeon

I guess, but there's technically several hours of content available in hommlet prior to going to the moathouse. You aren't locked into it, furthermore if you start the moathouse you can go back to town.
If the moathouse is a tutorial dungeon, another one would be those sewers in divine divinity. But I wouldn't include that either.

Ironically this poll is missing bethesda starting dungeons from oblivion and fallout 3 and I think skyrim(never played skyrim just watched friend play it).

I would unironically rather do the dumb ass imperial sewers, and vault 101 combined then the kotor 2 starting area.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Peragus. The themes are extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of literary analysis most of the story will go over a typical player's head. There's also Kreia's misanthropic outlook, which is deftly woven into her characterisation- her personal philosophy draws heavily from Nietzsche literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of this story, to realise that it's not just well made- it says something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike KOTOR 2 truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Atton's existential catchphrase "I have a bad feeling about this." which itself is a cryptic reference to the original trilogy only an intellectual will catch. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Chris Avellone's genius wit unfolds itself on their computer monitor. What fools, how I pity them.

And yes, by the way, i DO have a HK47 tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.

Chateau Irenicus. ToT is annoying but short and you can speedrun it. Peragus is a disaster, an extremely boring, long and empty prologue. Avellone said he regrets making it so long.
