This was kinda shitty video. He just showed pictures from the book for 30 minutes.

The video got old, really fast. I hate when he just reads the book. I hope for more episodes like the Thieves world one.

Yeah, it was one of the weaker episodes of CM. Meh.

BTW, I know Spoony's looking foward to CDPR's Cyberpunk, but I wonder if he is even aware of Shadowrun Returns.

This was his response on Ultima Forever: 'From Spoony's twitter this morning after he found out about this: "Well, that about does it. I'm off to go start slamming my head in a car door, and I may never stop."'

I haven't found his twitter response on this yet.

As for Garriott, I think Spoony's coverage of Ultima 8 and 9 is what recently caused Lord British to go on the defensive about production time limits imposed upon by EA not allowing U8 and U9 to be as complete as he would like.

People actually told Garriot of Spoony's reviews. And I think he even responded. So, yeah.

Do you know where I can see his response?
Not really no. But it was on twitter and the matter of U8 and 9 never entered the discussion - Spoony's Retrospective goes all the way back to Akalabeth so LB didn't need to defend Pagan and that other one.

Garriot actually defended Pagan in the latest Matt Chat episode. Putting the entire blame on the publisher.

'Ship @ Christmas = more money. Fuck the quality. It's not like we'll lose the trust of fans or anything.'

I agree but the jumping mechanic and a bomb in every chest was their ideas. It's not like EA forced those ideas onto them. They just didn't have enough time to realize how stupid those ideas were. So it's not all black and white.

I agree, but maybe (just maybe), there planned on implementing some kind of trap disarm skill for the chests and refine the jumping.
Merely speculating, though.

Well, than one was much better, although still too much time wasted on flipping the book pages.

He really should use bookmarks, at least for these videos when he has a clear story to tell and not just his ramblings.

Conga Line video was cool. I liked the Kobold bit -- I have memories of being sucker punched by Kobolds that were horribly underestimated for meta-gamist reasons. Fun timessss.

Honestly couldn't watch too much of the video on "Problem Players". It wasn't all too interesting watching hims stumble about his words trying to figure out how to go about the topic.
