A little spotlight of the new champ. Dunno about you, but this looks totally broken to me. But then again, I'm just a noob, so what do I know.

Want freelo? Build Ohmwrecker. It's like upwards of thousand free health with the active, at least for me. Fucking towers, my worst enemy, I have a weapon against you now.

Now I only need a boots enhancement that lets me ignore minion collision.

I wouldn't worry, Joe Miller is not actually a Rioter either, in fact the article has a quote saying he's looking forward to working with him even more. It's probably just a smart career move as an established shoutcaster to join an organization that can keep him even if LoL suddenly tanked whereas Riot has all their eggs in one basket.

Plus Joe Miller was shoutcasting worlds, seems like shoutcasting is the one part of League Riot isn't trying to make itself the one and only source of for themselves.

Joe says they're not coming back to the LCS in the facebook post at the bottom.
Yeah, it's smart and makes sense and all, but they were a big part of why I liked watching the EULCS.
Gonna be hard for anyone to fill their shoes as the play-by-play guys. And I really hope we don't get Quickshot or Deficio trying to do play-by-play instead. Eugh.

Maybe Riot doesn't pay as much, they like those cheap fanboys. Also Sjokz play by play? I'd legit be interested in having a good girl shoutcaster.

So what's Deman's actually job at ESL then? Because as far as I'm aware ESL runs the presentation of the EU scene already, I'm interested to see what his involvement would be.

Deman specifically stated that it's because his life is in Cologne (which is also the E-sports capital of Europe).

What patch were they playing on? Seems like jungle TF would be hard(er) to pull off in the current jungle. Fun when pros throw curve balls like that.

UoL rule. Awesome picks that really work out against TSM that cant really adapt to anything they didnt pre-planned.
Also, TSM's jungler played early game champions but didnt gank till he was like level 8. No presence in the games at all.

They're playing on 4.20. The jungle TF seemed pretty effortless to be honest. He built an on-hit/attack speed machine gun and just breezed through the jungle.

I just hope that UOL are not a fluke. Really entertaining games in the short amount of time they've been on the pro scene.

TSM is truly going to miss Amazing, I'm calling it now.

I was always surprised how much Amazing got shat on by popular opinion. Besides the Volibear game I can't of anything where he was just so awful. Subpar mechanics? He's the fucking jungler it's more strategy than reflexes for that role.

And I heard SHC will(/has?) dropped him for one of the Koreans off Millenium. You know, that team that lost about as early as they could in the expansion tournament?

oh SHIT, I didn't think UoL would win. They won their promotions, everyone thought it was a fluke. They won that other game against Lyon, some still thought it was a fluke, they were downplayed against TSM by all the analysts, I still didn't believe. Damn, it's going to be fun watching how they owned TSM.

They manhandled them pretty well but either Power of Evil is a god amongst men or Bjergsen played like 100% crap because PoE kills him in lane...like countless times.

Can't wait for a million LeBlanc counterpicks when I play Xerath now...

"Nocturne is just so fucking shit these days that we'll just Twisted Fate jungle" lol
Yeah it's pretty weird seeing a Pantheon vs TF jungle matchup when Nocturne has always been known as the global ult jungler. The TF jungle really gives Nocturne a run for his money though, same clear speed because huehue 100 sec respawns, better sustain, on demand stuns, way better global ultimate, same sustained damage in teamfights, an actual useful passive that allows TF to outscale the other guy even with low farming options and gold in the jungle, can split push, wave clear, and builds Devourer too of course. Basically everything that Noc brought in S4 is now on TF in S5, so weird and depressing.

But at least Nocturne is getting a small buff to his fear, it should come next patch. Nocturne has really only one good niche, but he's been getting better and better at it, he's fast becoming the #1 duelist/assassin out of the jungle. Sure, there's cockroaches like Udyr but if you actually want to kill your target as opposed to just running away forever, Nocturne is the guy to pick. That's pretty much how I always built Nocturne as last season, I did the jungle chores but besides that I just used him as OP duelist and always outscaled the other jungler. I was even 10 out of 11 wins for my run at the end of the season. If you want to do anything else, you have to use Vi, Rengar, Pantheon, TF etc but Nocturne always finds a way to come back.

C9 takes it! TSM already out!

If C9 can win this thing I'll cry tears of joy because that's the only way I can get my dream result where NA > EU but TSM looks bad. I really can not complain about UoL though, they're fan favorites for all the right reasons and I'll definitely watch more EU LCS thanks to them. Imagine the possibilities.

Soraka seems like a big pick though which makes me sad and I'm really trying to make not of the mid laner items. Athene's nerfs are a real mixed bag as a Xerath main. Mana trouble now but no longer will every mid have MR right from the start. All about making your skillshots count now...

Montecrisco brings up how good C9's on-the-fly decision making is and I really have to agree. I still remember Worlds where they still managed to take a lot of objectives from SSB(?) while heavily down.

And Sneaky and Rekkles managing to kill each other essentially solo since both were zoned out of a teamfight was so fitting considering how they were playing, which was incredible.

I wouldn't be so fast to state TF jungle > Nocturne. UoL did that for two very specific reasons: baiting out the Xerath pick from Bjergsen, which was bound to be demolished by a good LB like PoE's, and for the lvl 2 flash stun cheese gank to really seal the fate of mid lane. You might even be right about this, but don't take that game as evidence of it. Either way I hope Riot just removes that 10 soft resets bullshit, which is making ranged sissy ass mage champions take 0 damage from the jungle while fighters and tanks get wrecked, that's just not fucking right.

About Santorin, either the guy got the jitters hard or he's just bad. You don't need to carry the team on your back, but if you pick pantheon you better gank your ass off at the early game, and if you pick Nunu against goddamn "10 health after first clear Wukong", you better invade and take his shit no matter what. The way he was playing he would've been 10 times more effective going with even Udyr farm2g style.

Oh, there was also a Sion in the Lyon vs UoL match which was a complete disgrace. Guy blew his Q too early, never managed to pop his shield and was ulting from like 2 feet away, when teamfights had already broken out. Maknoon has been playing him a lot in SoloQ, apparently, hope he does the champions justice in the expansion tournament.
