Any info on how they're handling the story this time? I liked the hub and sidejobs approach of DF, but I thought the noir vibe was lacking.

Yea i totally agree, l liked much better the story/ambiance (except the last 1/3) of DMS over Dragonfall.
In fact i disliked the Dragonfall mood and some part of the dialogues (not cyberpunk enough IMO) but the setting and overall story kind of compensate it.
DMS mood/tone/dialogues and Dragonfall structure would be my ideal.
For the little i know, HK "feels"to me more like DMS in term of ambiance :bounce:

On the other end if it's not a pure Mechwarrior tactical game but a cRPG Mechwarrior like BattleTech: The Crescent Hawk's Inception...:bounce:

MechWarrior was the name of the p&p RPG, the tactical tabletop game is called BattleTech. So if you say "Mechwarrior" it's kind of implied that we're talking about a RPG, unless we're talking about the shitty pseudo-sim PC action games that, for some reason, were also titled MechWarrior (when they really should have been titled "Mechshootthelegsshootthelegs").

Clearly, my moneybags will be depleted of Jewgold by the end of the year.
