Yeah the Razor release has some old files because they used the files on the dvd and not the finished steam preload, you need the repacked update its around 200mb, its possible you have to start a new game i dont know, but after this fix mouse worked fine in all menus for me.

Phantasmal said:The bucket shit is pretty funny, but really... what could be done about it? Make the NPC attack you for putting an object on their head? Allow them to see through the object? Add a script which makes the NPC shrug the object off their head? Not sure what a proper workaround would even be, especially on this engine.

Some woman with a terrible "Nordic" accent has a child that talks like a midwestern yokel. People telling you the most inane shit about their lives as you walk by like you should fucking care.
I'm just waiting for the next installment where NPCs will be walking advertisement for Mountain Dew and Pizza Hut. The Prophecy of Prosper would then be realized.
10/10!

I mentioned Gothic, but no, I wouldn't really say it's better than it overall. I wouldn't say it's worse, either. It gives a similar "feeling" though in ways. The world/landscape is very bleak, and you have the opportunity to explore and find areas that are almost impossible to overcome without becoming more powerful.CreamyBlood said:I`m pretty sure that someone was saying something about it being as good as a Gothic. They'll "fix" the interface they proudly designed to be exactly the way it appears in the game.Folks, the game JUST came out. Yeah, throughout the process, they've gotten rid of all sorts of issues- but there are STILL going to be issues. GIve it time, and give them a chance to fix it before you get your 'defeatist attitudes' running high.
The 360 version was reviewed well by journalists who may or may not have any idea what they're doing, so it stands to reason that there's nothing wrong with the PC version.The fundamental 'ho hum' negative attitude I am seeing here is rather annoying. Yes you can criticize a game, but when I see a game that is just released, with all, if not most, reviews set in the high 90%, and yet come here and see the majority of threads based upon PC gamers whining about all similiar elements, that is just a result of a certain poor demographic audience.

You actually consider that to be incline?Stabwound said:By the way, here's some incline I just discovered:
You can disable quest markers completely, or even completely disable the compass from the UI if you want to.
Just edit the SkyrimPrefs.ini file and find the lines:
bShowCompass=1
bShowQuestMarkers=1
Set either to 0 and it will disable it.
It's too bad that it can become somewhat disorienting without at least having a compass to know which direction you're moving in. I'm hoping it's possible to mod the game to remove the icons from the compass that show enemies, settlements, etc. It would be nice to have just a plain NSEW compass.
So Prosper finally got hired? Good for him.Gerrard said:Here's some technical impressions.
