If the leak is real, Yakuza Wars is indeed a mobile game.

Majima, action combat and pure fun is the best we can get.

Kiryu is done at this point and ichiban is a failed protagonist, with no story to tell and a stupid battle system.

Can't believe I have two dream pirate rpgs in my wishlist and one of them being freaking Yakuza...

The funniest part of Like a Dragon: Pirate in Hawaii is that someone leaked it months ago and most didn’t believe it because it sounded absolutely wild lol.

New strategy for avoiding gaming leaks: Create a plot and concept so out there that no one will believe the leaker.

Sega really is trying their best to run Yakuza into the ground. I'd rather go back to the days of begging Sega to localise Yakuza games. Has Yakuza become a parody now?

There was also a leak on 4chan that they will kill Kaito on Judgement 3. :negative:

IIRC Sega said they planned to turn this into an annual franchise. Same thing with Persona and Sonic.

The Man Who Erased His Name was much better than 8, so I think I'll enjoy this. The concept sounds like dumb fun.

I hope the next mainline game gets its shit together because 8 was an 80-hour-long nothingburger and it would become a much better game if Ichiban's side of the story was cut altogether.

A lot of people suddenly sound like they're unaware of Yakuza: Dead Souls. This won't be the first zany game in the franchise.

damn, what did you make of Y7? I'm hyped to check out Y8 but I've seen mixed reviews here among codexers.
