kotor - one attempt around 10 years ago, i dropped it somewhere mid- or late-game. it was too boring to finish i guess.
witcher 2 - i mildly enjoyed the first witcher game, so i decided to play its sequel as well. i finished this turd once somewhere around its release, and from that point i have never touched any other cdpr game.
mass effect 2 - this was also an overhyped poop. cant recall much, no plot points, some general feel of shooting aliens maybe. the character creator was wild though, you could create some uncanny looking fuckers there.

According to Steam I spent 130 hours on Deadfire, which is strange because the only thing I remember about the game is that I didnt have enough penetration to kill the undead dragon in the snow DLC. I also remember I had to buy (craft?) a food buff to finally kill him.

Are there any cRPGs you've played, but forgotten what they were all about?
Hell I've forgotten a ton of games I played in the early 2000s that I downloaded off of Home of the Underdogs or emulated, not just the plot. Everyonce in a while I'll see a screenshot of something and remember playing a game. Wish I kept spreadsheets of stuff I played like a spectrumite.

Most RPGs I've played take so long to finish that I tend to take long gaps between sessions, which results in me forgetting a lot of what happened.

I've been a gamer so long and played so many games that I only remember stuff that actually left an impact on me. Everything else is mostly a blur, unless the game had a particularly memorable scene, character or gameplay systems.

But is it bad? If I ever find myself in a "shit, I seriously don't have anything to play" situation, I will simply go back to those blurry games and rediscover them.
