Hi everyone, I open this thread to chat about a lot of RPG games who we lost this year because of the huge amount of games that are beign published now a days.

Is really difficult to check every game that Steam releases in its platform and I would like to chat about some RPG games that actually looks really cool but are not into our radar.

- Undending dusk

https://store.steampowered.com/app/8...Unending_Dusk/

Is a Cyberpunk Action Rpg beat m up game which look really fun. It has a good price and has a coop mode so always feels good.

- Astonia Reborn

https://store.steampowered.com/app/8...stonia_Reborn/

A free to play MMORpg that in my opinion looks very amateur but everypeople are playing it talking nice about it so if you want to try something free... is a good choice.

- The bard´s tale trilogy

https://store.steampowered.com/app/8..._Tale_Trilogy/

This is one I love it and many people here must be! A clasic roleplay game but for Steam, is a remaster and the first games are cool so this must be awesome too.

- Fate Seeker

https://store.steampowered.com/app/882790/_Fate_Seeker/

I don´t know nothing about this game, is an Action Rpg very famous in China market but... nothing more. If anybody knows about it I will be thankful to heard about it.

- Chasm

https://store.steampowered.com/app/312200/Chasm/

Well... this game is special, some people love it and some people hate it, I should try it until get an opinion but if anyone try it here, please I would like to have an opinion about Roleplay fans.

- Radiant one

https://store.steampowered.com/app/864550/Radiant_One/

This game looks brilliant, an adventure roleplay game with a really good story keep the player into the game every time, I will buy it for sure and actually is really cheap.

- Lovecraft´s untold stories

https://store.steampowered.com/app/8...ntold_Stories/

I like this one, I tried a demo in a event long time ago and must say that I don´t like rogelikes but this one is mixed with a good gameplay and Rpg elements which could involve very good the player into the Lovecraft´s enviroment.

- The great Gaias

https://store.steampowered.com/app/8...e_Great_Gaias/

This one is special... Is very expensive seeing its old style graphics (and not so proffesional) but every people talk well about this game. Very similar to the firsts "Final Fantasy" looks great but old for our times. You can find a demo in Steam page. Thoughts?

- 13

I don´t know what kind of Rpg chinesse people plays
smile.gif
but this one seems like they like it... anyone knows why?

- Stoneshar: Prologue

https://store.steampowered.com/app/8...hard_Prologue/

This game is free and looks awesome! Try it because I am amazed with it. Maybe is only the prologue and they will release a full game in the future.

- Unworthy

https://store.steampowered.com/app/613190/Unworthy/

This game is really amazing, a metroidvania with detailed Rpg elements and a really cool art style. We should try this one!

- Moonlighter

https://store.steampowered.com/app/606150/Moonlighter/

A classic Rpg game, aprobed by Square Enix... awesome.

- The friends of Ringo Ishikawa

https://store.steampowered.com/app/8...ingo_Ishikawa/

This game totally catch me a mix between "Punch club" and "Double Dragon" simply great!

- Omensight

https://store.steampowered.com/app/455820/Omensight/

This game is a must, an Action Rpg with awesome arts and mechanics, just watch the trailer.

- RPGolf

https://store.steampowered.com/app/797710/RPGolf/

Mmmm if you are looking for a Rpg casual game, just try it.

- Deep dark dungeon

https://store.steampowered.com/app/4..._Dark_Dungeon/

This one is extrange, I have no opinion about it so I only say that the voxel graphics feel nice. Any idea about this game?

- Don´t sink

https://store.steampowered.com/app/710610/Dont_Sink/

This one seems really cool, get your crew and explore the world in a pixel Rpg gameplay. I would like to try it.

So I hope that this thread will be not so much long to be my first one here but I hope to be a help to you at the time to discover new Rpg awesome titles!

We've lost a potential Fallout spinoff with roleplay part, after Bethesda announced Fallout 76.

I like buying my RPG games the good old fashioned way: Taking some money out of the ATM machine and buying them physically.

I´d like to create a new thread talking abot these games because there are so much dark old style RPGs that are absolutelly amazing.

Which old style RPG games do you usually play? I´d like to try some of them.

Stoneshard > Promising, there is a thread about it somewhere here, nor sure it's going to make a lot of noise around here as Tales of Maj'Eyal, in a similar genre didn't get much enthusiasm but it seems extremely good as ToME is.

Unworthy > nice design, i'm not into action scrollers that much though, i prefer at least some more movement like in Golden Axe.

Moonlighter > Wow, didn't know this one, i'm going to try it, thanks for bringing it out

The friends of Ringo Ichikawa > Very japanese game, looks more like Target Renegade than Double Dragon but i guess they're all similar enough, the gang member following seems like an interesting mechanism and it seems the player doesn't have any advantage over his ennemies.
Still, not really my thing anymore (although i enjoyed Target Renegade, Double Dragon, Final Fight, Robo Army, Streets of Rage ... ), give them axes and dragons, lizardmen and i'm in.

Don't Sink > Aaaaaaaaah ! I think i'm blind !

Hahaha thanks for your detailed feedback.

Moonlighter is a must! Sure you´ll enjoy it.

On the other hand, Tales of Maj'Eyal has been played a lot for the comunity as I check in Steam, maybe in bundles but feels that goes well. Isn´t it?

The friends of Ringo Ichikawa- The mechanic looks great indeed, maybe I will buy it in the next sales!

- Chasm

https://store.steampowered.com/app/312200/Chasm/

Well... this game is special, some people love it and some people hate it, I should try it until get an opinion but if anyone try it here, please I would like to have an opinion about Roleplay fans.

It's not good. Combat is boring, clunky and uninspired. They also dedicated a lot of time and resources in making a random generated world for no reason. In a year with games like Dead Cells, Death's Gambit, Guacamelee 2 to name a few, Chasm falls way behind.

- Unworthy

https://store.steampowered.com/app/613190/Unworthy/

This game is really amazing, a metroidvania with detailed Rpg elements and a really cool art style. We should try this one!

I didn't have much progress with this one, but from what I've seen it's good. Very tough game, I'll certainly come back to it. Much much better than Chasm.

- Moonlighter

https://store.steampowered.com/app/606150/Moonlighter/

A classic Rpg game, aprobed by Square Enix... awesome.

Meh. Combat is somewhat fluid but has some weird decisions (you're hit when you touch an opponent, which is a bad decision unless you make a game like Volgarr). Also I found the shop management too tedious for my taste.

- Omensight

https://store.steampowered.com/app/455820/Omensight/

This game is a must, an Action Rpg with awesome arts and mechanics, just watch the trailer.

A good 7/10 Action game for me. Not something mind blowing, but not something bad. It's somewhat short (around 7 hours) and fun but no, it's not a "must" game. It's decent, if you like the genre. They also applied some "detective" skills and but not something special. They are smart because they used "time travel" as a means to reuse same areas with justification. I feel that games like this have a place, so I'm positive towards it.

Thanks Villagkouras for all the feedback.

I really apreciate your coments on Chasm because I almost buy it yesterday and prefered to wait until any feeback, maybe I have to try Omensight better.

The thread title made me expect a list of games that were canceled or taken off sale.

Sorry about that mate. Were games that I had on my radar but seeing the sales I guess that a lot of people lost their releases.

Anyway, I understant your position, you´re on right.

Bard's Tale IV. We were supposed to get an updated sequel and at minimum, a serviceable dungeon crawler. Somewhere along the way, the developer's compass went askew.

So the game is´t cool then?
