Pathfinder WotR is kinda Kingmaker on steroids, WotR is basically an standalone expansion for Kingmaker.
ELEX kinda gets into both categories. But it probably deserves top ten more than Geneforge 5.
ELEX II is utterly atrocious. The story is so shit I don't even know WTF they were doing.
(Avernum trilogy is kinda one game split into three episodes. But if it can't be counted as one game, then Avernum I has to suffice.)

Dark Souls is not originally multiplatform OP. The history is as follows: Dark Souls was console exclusive, PC folk formed a petition for a port, gaining hundreds of thousands of signatures, sent this to FromSoftware and some time later a lazy port was released that a modder known as 'durante' had to fix up. Later releases in the series were thereafter multiplatform. No revisionist history! That said, I really don't think games from predominantly console developers should qualify, period, and vice-versa if this were a console list. I will follow that rule.

I am simply using this category to dump RPGs I like less, as how the hell do you define "hidden"? Hidden to the codex (very few)? Hidden in terms of sales figures (many)? Hidden from the masses (almost all of them except utter shit like Skyrim)? there are many ways that could be perceived. OP ball-dropper.

Any of the hidden gems would be interchangeable with the top 10 in my list, I’m splitting them based on their perceived popularity.

To my thinking, top 10 is top 10 regardless of how conspicuous they are.

Hidden gems are games that are quite good, yet not top 10, that you also perceive as relatively unknown.

That’s why I specified to my list, I couldn’t bring myself to make the cuts. I think that a game like Brigand can give Desu Ex a run for its money on any day, and there’s a reason I put two games inspired by Ultimas but not the Ultimas they were inspired by. So, for all intents and purposes, I kinda cheated and made it a top 20 list, but then again, that’s what almost everyone else seems to be doing.

With the power of our votes combined we might actually put Teudogar where it belongs, on the Hidden Gems list!

If we make it really famous, perhaps senpai Wolf will finally notice us and bring us Darghul, right?
