Is there any official statement on how DLCs will work? Will they only unlock the factions as playable, or will they be adding stuff that affects your campaign. Say for example that you play a campaign as Rome, would anything be different with and without the Hellenistic DLC?
I`m trying to resist the urge of pre-ordering this +M because I have a feeling it will be shit at release. CA always delivers

All you get if you play as Rome with the greek DLC is 2 extra siege weapons and an extra merc units in the greek area.

Do ANY of them seriously talk about the AI, and are they all about the tutorial shit part of the campaign? Because if the answers are No and Yes, then it's the same old shit.
If anything the preview version would probably come with a gimped AI to prevent journos complaining that the game is "too hard".
Not that you should need to gimp a TW AI to make it easy....

That's some seriously primitive 1999 graphics pre-rendered movie.

It seems about on the same level as the pre-rendered movies that blizzard made with Diablo 2 back in 2000.

I'm more interested in the gameplay mechanics and AI. Cutscenes are a nice extra, that's all.

Yeah, they could do stick figures making a turtle formation for all I care, whatever. I wish they'd do the "old scribe talks about nation while battles take place" intro to factions though. GETS YOU IN THE MOOD.

Still worried about everything that makes the past three TW games bad, and the fact that AI is not being mentioned hardly at all, or the minutiae of the campaign, or modding.

How is Shogun 2 a bad game? It's the best game made in the series yet!

In what ways does Shogun 2 improves on Rome or Medieval 2? It's a serious question, never played beyond those two after the Empire debacle. Graphics is a non-issue, obviously.
