Code Veronica is only valued by people that happened to grow up with it as their first Resident Evil, as it's too action-oriented and absurd for classic fans, and too old and clunky for the kind of imbeciles who like Resident Evil 4.

Definitely not true. I've been with Resident Evil since the original PS1 game was released, and I enjoyed Code Veronica a lot. It hasn't aged well, but it was really good at the time. I remember buying a Sega Dreamcast just to play that game and I didn't regret it.

I love how delicately Nemesis handles doors and moving through doorways. It's so ridiculously jarring given he's smashing through walls and trying to smash Jill's face through the floor the rest of the time.

That was obvious from the game itself, but I wouldn't call it interconnected. Gun Shop Kendo itself is pretty much a dead-end as it's an isolated area; it's more like a fork in the road. Anyway, after going behind the alley in the Gun Shop, and through the house, you end up on the alley outside of the power station. Doesn't take a genius to figure it out.

CV is the only RE game that would actually benefit not only from a remake, but complete reimagining. That game was the true genesis of when the series became fucking DUMB.

Also, while bringing back Wesker was an interesting concept, I thought the way they did it was poorly done.

Also, I think a lot of trouble could have been avoided if Chris had just properly finger blasted Alexia Ashford.
