Trend pretty similar to many other kickstarters, and much as expected for an indie KS in 2018 without 'big names' or much publicity

Today they've raised 3,208 Euros from 4 backers so far. This might be a Copper Dreams-style situation where the game is heaved to the finish line by a small group of fans who are willing to spend big.

Incline that is
Incline that will be
Incline that could be
Incline that won't be <= Current temperature
Incline that is not

Oh gee I wonder why. A game with tons of complicated features, no money in the bank, asking for 100k€. Developers live in Munich.
So much this.
Fuck you Infinitron - what does this post have to do with the whole Jarl situation? Absolutely fucking nothing. And neither does the original Haba post. Get them back to where they were originally posted.

Posted about it on a french forum, half the people dont like the graphics, but i bet quite a few pledged. People are extremely picky nowadays, absurdly picky. I think the game look is fine expect the portrait closer to something like arcanum than D&d fantasy. Only way to get this funded is by word of mouth, if every codexers post on some small indie forums that will add a few pledges at a time. That's the only way to fight the decline, one pledge at a time.
Btw where can you check backers country percentages? .

Mmh. Right. And, just out of curiosity, what do you find so interesting about "bronze age Etruscans"?

OK, fair, technically they were iron age, I meant it more broadly - bronze age and on, until the pre-Roman period.
It's a pretty unexplored virgin territory when it comes to games, or just media really. Plus we know surprisingly little about Etruscans themselves, mostly from points of view of other nations at the time, so you'd have freedom to make stuff up, maybe even insert some magic.
"The Etruscan", for example, by Mika Waltari is not as good as "Egyptian Sinuhet", but it's still a fun attempt to interpret this culture. Very mystical and poetic.

Anyway, I just like historical RPGs and there are almost none from the bronze age. It's all vikings and "muh dark ages" medieval stuff.

Before the Etruscans, there was already at least two centuries of Iron Age Villanova Culture in those territories. The latest known Bronze Age culture in the area was the Terramare, which lasted until roughly half twelveth century BC. Regardless of the incertitude about the origins of the Etruscans, we are talking about a four and a half century gap between them and the latest Bronze Age findings in the area (Tuscany/Liguria/Emilia Romagna/Umbria/Northern Lazio).

P.S. I see that "Etruscan bronze age" is already a thing on the Codex, good job :D

I agree. A bronze age RPG set in the Hittite/Asryrian/Mitanni world would be awesome.
It would end up westernized. There are no arab rpgs either. I've played some chinese though.
