There's no report of any Kichikuou Rance translation project on any eroge site.

Only mention of
  • Rance 4 - 18% translated
  • Rance VI: Collapse of Zeth - 51% Complete
  • Rance Quest - New translator working on it with overall progress 8100/110000 - 7.3% Complete
Kichikuou Rance baby! Endless rape and killing the God Creator in one, now we are going places.
It's no coincidence the God Creator is a whale. :troll:

But why does Rance look like a faggot in that pic.

No rush, I still haven't finished Ran route on Sengoku Rance, nor that high school/japan conquest game (Big Bang?).

Ditch Bing Bang Age and play Daiteikoku. IMO it's vastly superior storyfaggy RPG wargame - just like Sengoku Rance. The problem is it was only partially translated. It's perfectly finishable, though.

Personally I can't wait for Kichikuou Rance translation. :bounce:

Insert clever insult here
Was Daitekoku that Rance in Space game, that we had an LP on that was abandoned? Yeah, definitely need to try it out. Bing Bang Age flopped after the initial good start.

Rance only makes a cameo as a enemy Mongolian general. Defeat his armies and he leaves to another dimension iirc.

And really I thought you already played it.

Most people actually think Daiteikoku was a flop compared to the other Dai games, actually.

It feels weird that CORE route had the best writing in that game.

I guess companies are really bad at writing when they're doing something that isn't super dark.

Probably the route where you join with Hitler loli and take down Soviet Loli Empire and Aeris Empire.

To unlock CORE mode, you need to complete a certain path branch of America's story (there are 2 possible ways the war with America can go)

If you don't take down the research facility through a back door, then America will activate their "latest war technology", which is a group of cyborgs built from convicted criminals on the death row (named after American Presidents, cough). It ends as well as you assume it would.

Once you completed that (and probably the game once), CORE mode unlocks, which yeah, is the "bad guys mode" where you play as them. It involves a lot of rape and not the "Haha Rance is funny" type rape either, the tone is more of that ONE scene in Rance that didn't have the CGs posted in the LP with tons of mindbroken girls who you then use as suicide bait ships.

But outside of that, the plot of the route is surprisingly good and you can find a summary of it if you search for it.

I'm a bit baffled why isn't even trying to translate http://alicesoft.wikia.com/wiki/Daiakuji , may it be worse then BBA?

On a strict gameplay and maybe plot basis, I think it's slightly better than BBA actually.

I think the biggest reason why no one has translated it is because it's really depressing, for one thing breaking and selling your women into prostitution to raise funds is a major gameplay mechanic in the game. BBA's translator basically said the game was too "morally repugnant" for him to translate and Rance people are working on Rance things which will take many more years to complete.

Reminds me of the classic The Maid's Story.

In this hentai game you have to manage the house of pleasure. You have three girls, but they need to be trained in cooking, washing, shopping etc. Also they know nothing in night jobs, so you must teach them. Choosing what they do each day raises their level. At night you may help them understand what they can propose to their clients. Forth girl is an assistant manager, so during the job you'll know more about her. In period of several days you have to grow your business and to find your true love.

:rage:
Then he is no Bro of mine. I can see where they are coming from.

I was actually thinking this would be something like BBA, but instead of beating up students I would be beating up feminazis. Looks like I will have to try BBA again after abandoning it for some time.

Also, from where does this .gif come from?

I think he was fighting against a feminazi regime, so he should be the gd hero.

The Daiakuji 6 episode OAV anime is probably the best way to experience it I think.

The prostitution angle is still there but they reframed it so that it's a "liberate woman from their extremely conservative social values into women who enjoy sex" thing as opposed to "girl becomes mentally broken and empty eyed as she's gangbanged by 4 fat smelly businessmen" of the games. Because of that the protagonist comes off more Rance-like than evil.

It does cut a lot since the original game was a big multi-path branch game as usual for Alicesoft strategy titles but honestly it's a pretty good adaptation for its time.

Rance IX keeps going.

Seems like it's halfway done, for what I can tell it could be out in the first half of 2014 (Wednesday?).

Rance IV translations et al seem to be advancig too .

Edit: I forgot. Seems like Toushin Toshi 1 has been translated.
http://alicesoft.wikia.com/wiki/Toushin_Toshi
(Take a look in links if you want to play it)

It's an adventure/RPG time game, set in some kind of tournament. It's set in an alternate future of the Rance world.
The plot: Some guy (called Custom, what a great and relevant name) goes to some kind of big tournament.
Every contender on the tournament must bring a beautiful woman with them, and the winner of each battle can have fun with the defeated's waifu (if the contender is a pretty woman, she fills the role of waifu).
The reason to do this?

Take that Tropes vs women.

And someone makes a cameo.

I doubt I will LP this, since I have enough stuff on my hands, but feel free to try it.

Japanese version of Hunger Games. Fine by me.

And according to some sites Rance 5D is 84% complete.

Please elaborate.

SPOILERS for just about the entire game seriously don't read this if you ever want to play TT2.
The main character (Cid) isn't a Rance-like dude, basically he's pretty Beta nice guy and he wants to marry the daughter of a fighting gym dojo, but ol girlfriend's dad isn't going to give up his daughter to a pussy so he makes a condition: win the generic RPG tournament and he'll prove that he's strong enough.

So dad isn't going to send his daughter in as Cid's collateral, after all, he doesn't want his daughter to get banged by the 1st fat ugly jerk Cid loses to. Instead his aunt goes with him as collateral and his girlfriend goes with another dude that's the current strongest guy at the gym.

Whenever you win a fight, you get the choice of whether to just let the collateral girls go and... uh, be a Rance-like gentlemen. Guess which choice will bite you in the ass later!

Of course this is an RPG so you know the main character is going to win and what a concidence, it turns out the guy who's entering with his girlfriend is the last guy he has to beat! After that they have sex and they're all like "ok, time to go home and get married, you go first but I got to collect the prize money"

And here is the big plot twist of the game: As it turns out, the owner of the tournament has a ulterior motive for holding the tournament. Every "winner" gets poisoned with an addictive drug by her and requires constant supply and raping of innocent victims or they'll go berserk and die. The girl that enters with the winner is held hostage and used for that purpose, as logic dictates that only someone who really trusts the guy would be willing to risk themselves to be entered as collateral that way and thus make good hostages. The owner sends the "winners" off to fight down in a deep dungeon to free her sealed demon boyfriend (or something like that), if they die, tough luck, new suckers every year. Once again there are a bunch of moral choices on whether you should just give in to your urges or try your best to fight it as you're forced into this shitty situation.

As another plot twist, eventually you play as Cid's girlfriend, who isn't stupid and realized that he didn't decide to disappear off the planet for fun. She manages to defeat the villianess's plan but Cid is still poisoned. This is where the moral choices that you made earlier in the game kicks in. If you're pure of heart throughout the game he manages to purge the poison from himself with the help of his girlfriend. Otherwise get ready for a bad ending.

So they go home and get married and the dojo people are like "AH HA, actually it was my plan to turn you from a beta wuss into a super strong dude after all! Except for the whole kidnap and hostage part, that was unintentional."

Another small game got translated: Dungeons&dolls.

http://rancetranslation.wordpress.com/

Not really Rance related, but you are constantly fighting the typical Rance monsters.

Basically, a "Doctor" of some kind creates a "Doll", a fuckable artificial woman, but he dies/dissapears in the process. His guard inerits the doll and proceeds to explore the infinite dungeon with her.
Combat is automatic, with your doll helping in different ways (she can heal you via boobs massage or heals poison by "sucking" it out of you.
You can also get many items to customize the doll.

Some of you may want to give it a try. But you will need to find and download the game, then use the patch.
