Insert Title Here Strap Yourselves In I helped put crap in Monomyth
i'm also gonna advocate brigand: oaxaca and brigand: panama. both are intensely creative in the sense that they're both... crpgs with a distinctive 'stream of consciousness' style of story telling that came from the author's head. you have to play them in order to see what i mean

The OST for The Neverhood has some very slightly Zappa-esque directions.

Since most of the proper CRPGs have or will be mentioned, gonna throw out a couple of JRPGs:

Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass - JRPG made by "waitu piggu," lots of absurd dead-pan jokes, visual gags, drama in small well-paced doses.
G.O.D. Growth or Devolution - At one point a family member is turned into a breeding cow for aliens :0 Fairly new English patch. Mostly visual gags.
Metal Max Returns - Only watched my buddy play it for a couple of hours, crazy tank customization and goofy enemies galore.
