Well this last month saw Obsidian go from ok studio to literally hitler bethesda.
You traditionalist gamer. You are holding the genre back. Why don't you let me make games like the cool guys, Bethesda? Why are you on the side of that guy *points at Avellone*. Just because we cut his health insurance when his mother was dying of cancer and offered him some money if he never worked on cRPGs for the rest of his life? You should be thankful that we are making IWD with better graphics.

So the drama started before the actual release? Aw.

Will be interesting to see how Obsidian handles this with just under a week left for poe2

Unless it bubbles up to the actual games press, all they have to do is ignore it.

They don't care, the people commenting on this are not their target audience, very few ps4 players frequent the codex.

As long as the rules of the game are interesting enough and the narrative isn't cringing, I can overlook all of these weird shit. They have to make some money and I can compromise all, expect the things I mentioned. 1 week to go!

We are in the bargaining stage I see. "If only the rules are good, I can overlook everything", "As long as the exploration is fine, it doesn't matter that the writing is literally worse than first grade kids'", etc.

It's not about bargaining. I want a good CRPG game but the genre is always been niche market. Now with crowdfunding and all I can get to have more good CRPG's. I and developers want to have good CRPGs with bigger budgets. So it's impossible to ask for everything and giving nothing in return. That's why I can compromise full VO, weird nerd marketing or throwing few bones PC crowds just to have my CRPG with a bigger budget as long as this doesn't majorly affect the things I mentioned.

As long as it's significantly better than Pillar 1 in every single aspect like it should be when they poured in at least twice the money if they can afford that kind of voice acting bill, not to mention have an established technology platform???

While in the end I liked the first game, I have zero hype for the sequel, and can't bring myself to understand why.

Overall I have a bad feeling about this, hopefully to be proven wrong, as we all have to gain from this game being good.

Sweet, a recap of the first game that just blurts out the big ending reveal, and the new narrator isn't very good

Now that I remembered Katrina left Obsidian for Blizzard Entertainment, I guess Feargus was right - as always- He just can't secure his personnel when your next-door neighbors are AAA. Sawyer will be leaving after some patches done too. Maybe it will be best for Obsidian to move elsewhere? Europe perhaps?

Anyone who gives a penny to Obsidian from now on is going straight to hell.
Stop low level trolling/shitposting you ottoman roach and come to face me 1on1 in my mountain region.

Careful Iskramor, in a country with 300 000 population the Codexers are not all that difficult to identify.

If Erdogan requests your extradition, you may have to run to Greece.

He will be welcome in Bulgaria,we still don't bend like the Greece prime did with its soldiers. Also codexers will be unrecognizable in Montenegro :) ,most people on the Balkans hate kebab and don't give two shits about political correctness.
