Most important reason: It's cool. The battle is mentioned often in both games. To be able to experience it firsthand is sweet.

Logical reason: The main antagonist is Eothas. Having Waidwen in the DLC is a good opportunity to flesh out his character even more.

Well that looked interesting. If the whole story is the God needing the help of the party to contain some beast that escapes every X years, that's a better hook than the main game. I liked the dragon being dragged away by some portal shit but then I noticed it's just a reskin of your generic PoE1 dragon with satan horns which is sad. Hope this one isn't a variation of "rawr rawr me bad me ugly me evil me destroy" at least.

Much better than the previous dragons.

Sky dragon -> taking care of children

So we're getting another unique Priest subclass from this dlc. Sure hope it'll be playable for the Watcher too.

Probably not - no other companion-based unique subclass is - but it will soon be modded in just like all the rest.

They really need to add a button to preview abilities tree outside of leveling up

Guess I'll have to play it with the DLC. I haven't had access to my PC for a month now due to hardware issues and couldn't play the game, while I thought I'd be done by now. Eh, I guess my playthrough with all the DLCs will be a little less unique. Or I might not do this content.

As for Vatnir, high level abilities don't matter that much, since the difficulty is non-existent after 12th level, so whatevs.
