Isn't the development team for this like ten people? More games like this less bloated generic AAA shit please.

Imagine the surprise when we'll find out even this game will be submerged under hours upon hours of trash combat.

You all missed the biggest joke about it: Obsidian's Xbox-Exclusive :D
"Xbox exclusive" only means that it won't be on Playstation. I think all Xbox games are supposed to also launch on Windows by default.

Codex 2014

From Obsidian, this game is a historical mystery role-playing game that focuses on character development, heavily stylized art, and choice-driven storytelling in early 16th century Germany. The main character is a clever illustrator caught up a series of murders at Kiersau Abbey over twenty five years. This character alone possesses the wits and will to expose the killers, but each decision he makes has lasting consequences and inexorably draws him closer to the center of an underlying conspiracy.

Pentiment contains public executions, stylized gore, suicide, references to abortion, frequent strong language, references to sexual assault, and references to sexual activities. Small parts of the game also reference notable alcohol consumption and incidental ergot-induced hallucinations.

Looks awesome! Ready for it, November coming soon.
Usually get bored with story-only games but let's see.

no wonder Josh liked the Card Shark game so much, very similar look

This isn't a joke? This is actually real? After all the years of bitching about a potential darklands spiritual sequel this is what they come up with? What the actual fuck???!

Jesus just what kind of budget they've had? No wonder even that disgusting bitch Dollarhide left the company after working on it  Looks as your next indie-trash game from Steam. The only good thing I could expect from Obsidian at this point is solid art direction, production values, anything of worth to consume, perhaps soundtrack. But no, here's your narrative adventure bro with Dollarhide's and her likes work in it. I'd rather play Choice of Life: Middle Ages or Abbey of Crime again.

Pretty standart shit for cross-platform games if massively annoying.

IN all seriousness, Name of the Rose ripoff could be a good set up for an RPG, but it looks like RPG-Maker garbage.
