Same here. I loaded a savegame made on "Custom" difficulty. Changed the difficulty to "Core". Saved the game. Killed the elemental, no achievement. I guess there are some hidden conditions, maybe it tracks if you entered the maze area on Core difficulty.

Lol, 24 hours after release and 1 in 200 have beat the Elemental in the Prologue on Core or above.

This might game might finally provide an achievement to supplant 'beating POE on Expert' as my rarest one.

Add 1.6% from GOG.

It's pretty easy to kill it... use defensive fighting on Selah and then just shot it.

Did you check that your difficulty is still on Core? It might have went to Custom.

Still on core, ai setting does not affect it. I finished the first dungeon and nope. No achiv.

That is pretty lucky,she could party wipe with cleave. I had to try that fight a few times. She was very lucky bitch. By the end i just cheesed her by making her run after the bug man while i clean the rest,then arse rape.

The saddest thing about Pathfinder 2: The Revenge of the SJWs is that you're tasked with saving a world that's not worth saving. The first game had an OK story world, some of the companions were entertaining and it was fun building a kingdom from the ruins at first though the endgame was over the top. All good RPGs pretty much follow the same plot, save the good guys from the evil menace...

In Wrath however it's a different story, the characters are virtually all despicable or repulsive, it's a world of decadent aristocrats, mannish Half-Orc/Negro lesbian warlords, murdering thieving gypsies thieflings, and worse...it's a creepy kind of clown-word, a world so bad it oddly makes even the demonic hordes seem appealing, just wish they would burn the whole sorry show down to the ground...



It's like a ludicrous parody of the US is like (or what it might be like in 10-20 years); you get to wishing our demons (Putin, ChiComs, Taliban, Mullahs) would get together and put the patient out of its misery...

The way quests are given out in the tavern is very bad game design. So bad that it reminds me of Obsidian.

In an ocean of words, most of which would have been best edited out, the player has to seek grains of useful information.

There is one quest about "finding a weakness" in the defenses of a stronghold occupied by a group the player knows nothing about - Gay Guardians or something. At the same time, there is another quest pertaining to another stronghold occupied by another enemy group the player knows nothing about - some templars or something - who have apparently taken over the place from a third group, this time of the good guys, of which the player also hasn't heard before - the Eagle somethings-or-another.

Other quests include looking for a random dude, and looking for random groups of people who would join the resistance. I honestly think the latter would have been better if it got triggered only if the player chances upon such a group, instead of being proactively tasked by a quest giver to seek out volunteers.

Did anyone else struggle with that out of nowhere just because you took a nap mission to defend the tavern?? Man oh man had to even lower the difficulty (not proud of myself). Oh good old Pathfinder sudden difficulty spikes, how I have missed you. Anyway back to the crusade.

IMPORTANT!!!

TLDR: Morale lose carries over when you load older save and try the level again,it is a bug.

When you get to that place in the pic,you have to do it in one go ! Or you will get fucked like me. In the place you get -5moral every time you loot some shit or enter the side caverns.....so i just loaded a few times to see if the people chosen by the events matter. Sooo i ended up exploring a few times and with -50ish moral. You just have to run to the northern place ,maybe rescue the dude in craves,or not,then fight the queen,then explore. The side caverns have some loot that will be lost if you do this,but i don't think it is something major.

Yeah,the writing is very bad,a wall of text,even worst a wall of pointless and repetitive text. The same shit is said by a bunch of different people a few times over.

soooo you could just make normal save before entering,enter explore,see which cavern have loot you are interested,then exit the game,start the game again,loot shit and kill the queen.

Did couple of quests, returned to the tavern to sell loot and rest. Boooom unavoidable and really difficult battle. What being slow or fast got to do with anything?
