I like how there's this "Tough Balor" in Drezen that drops a +1 Longsword.
You know, a balor... Described as "the epitome of demonkind", monsters that could easily serve as the BBEG for any campaign by themselves. Powerful beyond mortal ken, every single one essentially a unique character unto himself.

+1 Longsword.
The standard Pathfinder Balor wields a +1 unholy longsword and a +1 flaming whip. Since the unholy property is virtually useless in WotR, I guess Owlcat did us a favor by not adding it.

Enjoy solving some high school algebra instead
The High Wizard of Math or whatever was his name was a gigachad
Actually the evil quality on weapons bypasses Good DR which Good characters usually get given for free with abilities, powerful spells etc, so it wouldn't be useless

Endless waves of ennemies spawning until you killed one specific type of them is not a really good design,, even more so when it's not explicitly described. Also the AI is brainded, enemy are often stuck or running randomly, and your allies are even worse, the whole barricade in front of the tavern basically does nothing.
The tavern siege is supposed to be endless until you kill all arsonists? But I've had arsonists alive til the very end and there were no additional spawns.

I'm not sure what's supposed to be a bug or a feature at this point.

I like when they now introduce new bugs.. now in Abyss city when you rest in your caves most companions and map exit markers tend to disappear until you save the game and load same save.

EDIT:
And then when I exit the game to the outer areas where the portal is, I need to do the same before the button for the portal shows up...

Yeah I'll hold further playthrough until the Definitive Edition or something.

Or until Owlcat went bankrupt coz Russia sanction which means no further patch.

I don't know about the new bug, but I was ALWAYS ambushed when trying to rest at the abyss inn.

Lovely place, that abyss, isn't it?

Ignore that, that was part of my previous message that somehow snuck through.

Bruh, my PC is actually decent, but every time Owlcatz decides to throw more than 5 mobs on my screen, I automatically switch to TB just because I know things are gonna go 1930s.

What is funny is that the whole "no patch because of war in Ukraine" gone global and promise to replace the "no patch because Covid", the developers of Halo Infinite had a meltdown on Twitter when people were demanding patches so their game stop sucking, they got pissed off that people dared demanding they work during the middle of a war. I'm waiting at any minute the russian MoD to announce it is denazifying the 343 offices to save the world from Halo.

I'm just surprised any of you guys think an Owlcat game is worth playing following the first two years of its release, did you guys not play Kingmaker or something

The normal and reasonable assumption is that developers learn from past experiences, so people assumed that Owlcat listened to all the criticism about the endgame in Kingmaker.

Instead they doubled down on all the bad systems, like petulant children.

I'd love to hear how that even happened. A normal RNG has upper and lower limits. What sort of niggerrigged code is this?

My hypothesis is that the game try to treat it as a crit because of the nat 20, and spaghetti code did the rest. Whatever at this point, if someone could also explain to me why the "predicted" rest time can go from 11 to 21h, I'm all ears.

There is obscure Pathfinder rule that you are allowed to rest only 8 hours in a day. So if you've already rested recently you need to wait out remaining part of the the day and only then you could rest properly. That produces odd rest times like 20+ hours even when minimal option for the rest time is chosen.

This rule was even implemented in Kingmaker, but it was bugged and flag that you have rested recently and need to wait until the next day was resetting after save/load.

They did learn, but they learned the wrong lesson.

"Huh, people didn't like the confusing teleport puzzles. Alright, the endgame dungeon in our next game is gonna be a hallway."

Monkey's paw and all that.

Sarathiour is the idiot that showed that. On the same screen on the right it says shadow did a critical hit so it is actually 2d6 strenght

I did point out the crit on the next post.
That still show that the combat log is a the very least partially fucked.
