is the kind of thing you can do in RTwP that you can't do in TB. And I do it often.

Also Wolj on Estoc is the new hotness.

That stupid furry is an official NPC?
Not that stupid. The set-up is that the character itself forgot that she is the shapeshifter that she is, and that combined with several other things, are creating a journey - both for the character itself, and for you.

It's actually a bit funny how they took the furry money, and then just spun that into a fairly interesting character.

The writer himself, if you watch all the videos with him, is a pretty cool dude. He knows his stuff. Has a nice storyteller cadence when he speaks too.

Did they ever fix the discrepancy in how Attacks of Opportunity acts between RTwP and TB?

I remember in KM, you can generate tons of additional AoOs (like 5+) with various spells/feat combos - i.e. Thug + Dreadful Carnage or Dazzling Display. But doing it in TB mode had a tendency to break that combo, not just because of the turn order, but the AI acting differently too.

AoOs are the one thing that TB seems to do as well as RTwP. I do more damage on opponents turn than on my own I think, because when they trigger AoOs everybody attacks at the same time so triggers Leading Strikes and whatnot. On your turn you do your four attax and don’t get Leading Strike and half the time don’t get flanking because the rest of the team is stuck in one spot.

It's been a while since I've played KM, but the problem I recall having was the AI often not even running away and drawing AoOs even when feared in TB (they just sat there, whereas they would at least move in RTwP). But to be fair, that might be something fixed in KM now and likely in Wrath. Yeah, I also remember having trouble flanking in TB (mostly because by the time I can set that up, my archers have deleted everything). In my TB run, Ekun was basically ending encounters before the rest of the party could even play.

I'm not familiar with Leading Strike - but I assume that's a new ability added in Wrath that I'll have to try out.
