is lost chappel location unstable for anyone else ?. Its crashing like Afganistan.

In you have an Item that gives you a familiar turn those off and see if it helps. The Imp one was causing that for me in Drezen.

its not familiar but it seems to lag with main character Thanks Desi you helped me narrow it down what it can be.

Edit: Seems to be some sort of combination with area of effect in melee i went for build that makes giant use of cleave and synergies there plus dazzling display etc. will propably have to have my Main PC go ranged for moment and fight with party more or less. Seems like the snow textures dont interact well with the graphic gimmicks.

Why the sudden hate for Swarmchad? Seems like the only interesting option to me tbh.
It's a matter of meta(physics) for me. The way I see it, you die and those bugs form a hivemind that 'retains' (read: mimick) your personality. There's no continued consciousness for you.

That's fucking rad, then you don't have to take responsibility for anything that you do. Also how do you know that turning into any other mythic creature doesn't override at least some aspect of your being?

There is (meta)physical essence of "soul" in this universe though. Worm that walks spawning included magically infused grave worms devouring a body of caster along with the soul, thus splitting it among countless lesser vessels that are still connected and form a greater whole. Don't know the process in the game for the swarm variant but probably at least somewhat similar. So why its consciousness can't be the same when it still has specific and identical source of life at its core, something that formed previous you.

She's also an Illusionist and the Illusion spells she gets midgame are very good. Don't need damage when all the bad guys are falling asleep and covered in imaginary webs.
I think beating one saving throw is easier than two.

It is. That’s why you use the good Illusion spells instead of the bad ones. Midgame that’s the ones that are AoE enemies only. The Killer thing is backwards since it doesn’t work on the things you’d want to single-target.

Never had that problem.

My screenshots are superclean with no added effects or extraneous stats of anything tho.

I don't buy that. It's the same as with reincarnation. If I subscribed to that belief in real life, I still wouldn't consider it any sort of consolation that my soul survives. Without the continuity of my conscious mind, *I* wouldn't be myself even if I somehow restored the memories of my old life after my reincarnation.

just noticed regarding reactivity that for example if you worship abadal in Chappel you can invoke him with Prayer and you skip 17 dc check etc. so they seem to

Eh i dont mean effects like additional i mean the vanilla game, if you combine cleave then dazzling display, dreadfull carnage attacks of opportunity etc you can basically chain kill as long as you keep killing more or less. and the game propably couldnt handle the sheer speed there, it makes me wonder why it didnt have problem sooner with it tho.

If there is reactivity to your choice of god then that means there is an objectively best pick. Do we know who it is yet?

I don't see what the big deal is, in-universe the continuity of your conscious mind is constantly interrupted when you get killed and wait for your party to resurrect you. And as with most fantasy soul basically is mind in pathfinder. Real-life has nothing to do with it, we can't measure or confirm a soul yet, in pathfinder it is just a fact of life.

Yeah, but both the hardware and the software stay the same. As far as I'm concerned, it's no different from being in clinical death irl and then being brought back.

i tested few things and and Abadar seems to be most rectiave followed by Iomedae, Saranea, Desna etc Seen few cases of Torag as well so i presume main racial gods and then the Abadar as god of Law and Good Goods involved in story. that being said ask Desiderius as he is our resident Profesor, just as arrogant and just as knowladgable as they are supposed to be.

I get where you are coming from, ages old philosophical question of Thessus ship - if over decades you replace every rotting part in the vessel to a new one, that someday every part was replaced, is it still the same ship or a different one? It started to matter more to us in modern times with actual research on brain-machine interface and dreams of digital immortality. Because the idea can be applied to human mind, digital transfer of your consciousness to a new body, is it just a clone, a perfect copy of your mind that just thinks that it is you, but actual you will still die in the original body? I do think it is so in real life.

In pathfinder your mind IS your soul, in a way it already is immortal. Mind-souls are just spirits, when you die you get in line with other souls to be judged in the afterlife by the annoying goddess of death. Your soul is you, just without a mortal coil it is made from astral stuff same as it always was. When it inhabits a body where is it though? In your brain, in your spleen, in your heart? More likely soul resides in every microscopic part of your body, infuses every little cell with its essence. So if you think about your body as just biomass, is it fundamentally that diffirent if you get transformed into an abomination? Even for the swarm, in the same way your soul-mind is infusing every living cell in a living body. It just so happens that instead of a uninterrupted mass of one human vessel your soul is linked between many islands, continuity of your spirit separated by external shells of chitin or grub skin. Forms are different but in the grand scheme of things any biological life is composed of cells. Just building blocks of life for souls to inhabit.

As for continuity of your conscious mind, perhaps is not interrupted after all? I imagine for your consciousness the process will be continuous and you will be aware to feel it. Your body dies but your soul-mind still feels and experiences the torment of being torn apart and changed into a new form of existence. So from this perspective, you don't lose who you were exactly but rather get altered radically as a person by these experiences along with your body.

rusty_shackleford I know you think that's like the most desperate possible cope but you just have to read the dialogue. Spergy Sue actually says she Fucking Loves Science at one point and another time tries to win over an evil Druid by talking about what a tree hugger she is. There are a LOT of send-ups.

The tranny isn't a companion and two of the female companions could have been written by Roissy himself. If anything they're too blackpilled. So whatever, people see what they want and I'd prefer something more KCD but only way out to there is through.

Overland spells:

This one's really good since spells are one of the things that can hose you.

Mass Hideous Laughter.jpg

This was too good - and of course hung the game. Getting fewer hangs in combat now. If you hold down the mouse button for a beat for some reason that helps the mounted units take their full action/not hang the game.

It's all speculation on our part as long as the setting doesn't explicitly sort out this stuff, but the way I see it is as follows: your soul is akin to a sponge that 'absorbs' the functions of the material brain in order to give birth to a consciousness (before that the soul being part of an undifferentiated mass of soulstuff that resides wherever, being then molded into that 'sponge' when separated into an individual soul ready to be incarnated). When you die, those functions are retained and you go on your merry way on whichever plane of existence it is. But if you get to be reincarnated (in the literal sense, 'reenfleshed' as it were - the psyche being to the soul what water is to the sponge), I see it akin to taking out all that the sponge absorbed and then putting it in a new body of matter from which it absorbs whatever it is that makes a consciousness a consciousness as it had done before. And in the case of the swarm, it absorbs those bugs to form its consciousness. So even if it retains the memories of its previous body, it is still not you.

Why i can't be barbarian monk?
You can if you want to munch. Start as a monk and then do everything you can to change your alignment. Might be one of the more nasty double-class combos for 40 lvl legend. Instinctual Warrior + Sensei, if they stack you get double the wiz scaling for dodge.
