The boggard cave is fucking awful. An endless tunnel of copy pasted boggard barbarians with tons of hp. Monotonous as fuck, and shit loot.

Exemplifies the worst of Owlcat design

Owlcat does overuse encounters, but the encounters themselves were good. At least better than most of kingmaker.
Tons of HP is irrelevant there. You're not supposed to tank and spank, just disable them/slow them, they have weak will and especially reflex saves.

I don't get how that area has endless fights. It's like 4 fights outside and 4 inside? Do people want areas with only 2?

The best parts of Kingmaker are areas with only 1 fight. But yes the entire boggard area is bullshit and I usually never bother to clear it before my characters are lvl 7 at least.

I did it in Act 1, when it first became available. I found it fairly easy, although I was slinging web and grease with great abandon. It helped that my main character is an archer with an elk whose charge was insanely powerful for the level and did the majority of the initial damage.

Idk, you are complaining about how much hp they have. Which would only be annoying if they were meant to be tanked and spanked. Which they aren't due to their super weak saves.
Once they are disabled, is it such a suffer to have to spend an extra round or two to deplete their HP pool ? The entire point of them having a ton of hp/ab is specifically to tell the player not to tank and spank.

What the hell is this Deal with the Devil quest? I don't even get what is happening.

Worst quest in the game, and it was a backer addition.

What's the problem with that quest?

It's a regular one. I just kicked Linxia out of my city, then out of my inns and the out of my world.

I sincerely don't understand why it seems that annoying for a lot of people.

For me I guess I just feel that the quest is weirdly out of place. I don't know who this guy is, I already forgot his name, he is not a very memorable character but clearly the game is forcing him down my throat. The Hellknights raise hell in my kingdom so I already won't side with them, not sure how you can even justify that since they're agents of a foreign power acting like they own the place. And the dialogue choices are much more limited than in the rest of the game. Not to mention that it's marked as a blue kingdom event so I already thought that this was a main quest and gives debuffs if I ignore it so I'm basically forced to attend to this as if it were a timed main quest.

The antagonist in that quest is meant to be a meme, to be fair.

It's just that the joke is not very funny
Tbh, I don't see it. The quest seemed completely unironic to me. Or is it meant to simulate when an annoying cunt disrupts a tabletop session with over the top antics, trying to make their character the protagonist?
Also, how come the guy just casually admits to creating a devil worshipping state right on your borders and you don't even have the option to tell him that maybe that's not exactly okay? Is worshipping Mammon accepted? I get browbeaten every time I overlook Nok-Nok's foolishness with Lamashtu, but no one even cares about this cocksmoker outright bragging making a deal with a devil. Irony or no, it feels like a poorly thought out storyline especially in context of the game.
Well, at least I got loot out of it and that trade deal project boosted economy for only a little investment so I guess it's okay, I'll just pretend that it didn't happen.

Still, the idea of spending a small fortune just to create a quest like this... I don't know whether to admire the guy or shake my head at him. It's either the ultimate Chad move or the biggest incel shit ever.

Quick question: How come suddenly every one of my advisors has 20-60% chance to complete an event? For the newer ones with the transition of power debuff I can understand it, but now the likes of Tristian and Harrim need savescumming so as not to fail literally every event.

I think this reflects the normal experience of playing this game. Start stacking up on coins and thinking about which event you REALLY need to have go through.

Well, that could prove a problem. I've basically blown through all my crisis points and the War of the River Kings chapter already started, so I guess I'm kind of fucked. Not to mention all the companion quests that started popping up suddenly I'm inundated with timed quests. Teleportation circles are a godsend, but I still don't really have the time for the 14 day rank ups. Am I not supposed to do every rank up and claim every region? How am I supposed to have time for projects too with all the events and shit popping up?

Also did the Ancient Curse Part Five fight, spent a couple days in-game, when is the next conversation going to happen? Kind of worried that it's bugged because every time I did Bald Hilltop, a conversation happened within 2 days.

Are you enjoying the kingdom management? If not, just turn the difficulty all the way down, if not disable it entirely.

this is the worst. I remember getting so pissed trekking back home after killing the cyclops lich and given no time to catch up on anything, because they thrust you straight into another giant crisis and key advisors decide to abandon their positions. Season of the Bloom is when everything starts getting out of control, unless you know exactly what you're doing
