Unless the partnership with Paradox was the secret project.

RPS: After all this time and so many missteps, do you feel like you owe fans any sort of apology? Do you feel responsible, or perhaps like you’ve damaged your players’ trust?

There's some game companies I would like apologies from in this case. Hint: They both start with *B*.

Whats the context of that RPS question? :? Did someone offend their SJW sensitivites?

Bethesda games have bugs ---> it's a Bethesda game, they pay our rent so we shut up.
Obsidian games have bugs ---> they don't have money to pay us so we can fake caring about players when we sell them to advertisers.

I'm taking the pessimistic route: MCA was talking about the Paradox deal when he mentioned their secret project. Not only did he say 'project' instead of 'game', he also said Obsidian would announce it, which means it probably isn't the AAA game since the publisher would announce that. And I don't think it's the kickstarter just because it's too early for that.

If Obsidian announce The Simpsons: RPG, half of the codex will commit virtual seppuku.

I like the Simpsons a whole lot less than I like South Park, but I'm probably in the minority there. Most people I know grew up with the Simpsons, so there's great nostalgia potential for a Simpsons game in the same style as Stick of Truth.

Of course, we already have the definitive Simpsons game:

well there's smart, good, well-written simpsons, and then there's fucking horrible simpsons.

neither would make for a good crpg.

I for one sure as hell hope it's no TV/cartoon show thing,

I'm hoping it's not any kind of previously familiar title from any media, but an all new thing (for what ever that might be worth in the end).
