Greater Shockball is allowed if you're playing as Marvel VS Capcom Ryu. Preferably with maximum explosion radius. Being a bum, Ryu also isn't allowed to have more than a few coins on his person at any time, but that's negotiable if you're playing as Ken (in which case you must collect as much money as possible), or Dan.

His motivation for fighting Dagoth Ur is because he thinks it's just Dhalsim in a trditional indian mask.

His motivation for traveling the gameworld is finding stronger people to punch in the face. Install Morrowind comes Alive / Starfire's NPC Additions and taunt random strong-looking people on the middle of the street into fighting you whenever you arrive in a town (preferably by silt strider, to simulate the plane trips around the globe - walking is for adventurers, not streetfighters)

Now go.

So my dude, Guile, has been punching his way into power. Fists are actually pretty fucking powerful. Managed to kill a Flame Atronarch easily relatively early on. I wonder if I can punch Vivec to death or if fists will be ineffective against him.

Edit: After rigorously training my fist fighting tough enemies such as Golden Saints and Draemora Lords I finally made my way to Vivec to put an end to his reign. It was a long hard fight, but in the end he got beaten by a shirtless Guile wielding only his fists.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Morrowind doesn't run very well on the xbox (haven't tried it on a 360 though), so you might as well go for the pc version

I also noticed a comment on the first page.

I like "most" of the things done with this mod, however, there are serious problems with it as well. For anyone wishing to enchant their own items, with this mod active, you absolutely MUST be a member of the Telvanni house, or Felen will not allow you to buy the vital spell, summon Golden Saint.

Tried to install Morrowind Comes Alive (last version) in a fresh copy with Tribunal and Bloodmoon (and the last official patch) but I keep getting these missing objects errors. Any ideas?

Some modders zip their files in weird ways, it's possible that you're putting folders where they don't belong. Instead of just extracting to "Data Files", open the archive and manually put everything in place. Check what the error says, it'll tell you what it's trying to load.

Other than that, check the comments on the PES / TESNexus page for the mod.

You probably failed to register some .bsa archive via bsareg or (preferably) by manually entering it in the .ini .

...wow, fuck's sake, you make it sound like you're playing Lionheart: Are you a bad dude enough to be a Crusader.

It's Morrowind. I punched my way to level 10 without even worrying about gears. Until daedras raped my naked ass.

Just buy pre-generated spells to experiment and see what you like, then mess around with enchants if you like particular effects. I myself kept a Restore Health charm handy, and some potions of Shiled to protect myself better. And that's it.

HTH is actually quite powerful in Morrowind, it's just actually killing anyone with it takes stupid amounts of time. Still, you can easily stunlock people with flurry of blows, knock them out, then casually punch the living crap out of them till they stop moving.

As for BTB, it features tons of good ideas, it's just retardedly nazi about a lot of stuff that could be fixed with soft restrictions instead (if an effect is overpowered, don't disable it, just tweak the casting cost).

DraQ, have you tried Galsiah Character Development? Any opinion?

I like the fact, that it makes you less jack-of-all-trades. Also I like that it removes leveling, because I always found myself power-leveling - and it kind of ruins a game.
They say that mages are over powered by this mod. But then again - two facts:
- mages supposed to be superior to warrior, thief, etc. (let me put it this way: even an average mage would rape the best warrior - in most cases ofc - I guess - I'm not sure if it's true or how lore handles it)
- this is a single player game, therefore it don't have to be balanced

Single player games need balance too, unless you think easymodo makes for an enjoyable gaming experience. For example, one of the most frequent complaints about FO3 is how VATS tips the scales in your favor way too much. And in Dark Messiah of M&M, there's the kick.

yeah just look at TW2. ppl are complaining it was too hard at the start and too easy at the mid game...turning into a total cakewalk by end...

now that's just a little bit exaggerated but true,.

from Bethesda - experienced the same maddening issue & this worked for me in a W's XP 32bit environment

Please uninstall the game, remove any Morrowind related registry entries, and delete the contents of your temporary folders. Instructions for the latter two steps are below. Then reinstall the game and see if it will launch without the "File not found" error.

- Click Start, and Run.
- Type in "regedit".
- Click on the plus sign next to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE"
- Click on the plus sign next to "Software"
- Click on the plus sign next to "Microsoft"
- Click on the plus sign next to "Windows"
- Click on the plus sign next to "CurrentVersion"
- Click on the plus sign next to "Uninstall"
- Click once to highlight the key on the left side: {B42F73D4-AFDA-4761-B3F4-23A872D11339} (This key should be very near the top on the left-hand side)
- After highlighting the above key, you should see "DisplayName" and "Morrowind" under "Data" on the right side of the Registry Editor screen.
- Make sure that key is highlighted and hit the Delete key on the keyboard. Choose Yes to confirm the delete.
- Next, look for the key named {FF70923C-8A51-47F4-A7E9-893C6D54EB68}. Click on the name once to highlight it. After highlighting the key, you should see "DisplayName" and "TES Construction Set" under "Data" on the right side of the Registry Editor screen.
- Under "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ Bethesda Softworks", look for the "Morrowind" entry and click on it.
- Make sure that the "Morrowind" key is highlighted and hit the Delete key on the key board. Choose Yes to confirm the delete.
- Do the same for the "TES Construction Set" and "TES3 Editor" entries (if they exist).
- Close the registry editor by clicking on Registry at the top and then click Exit.

To clean out the Windows Temp folder, use the steps below.

- Click on Start, then Run and type in "C:\Windows\Temp" (Substitute Windows with WinNT on Windows 2000), including the quotes, then click on the OK button.
- Once in this folder, Click on Tools, then Folder Options. Click on the View tab, then click on Show Hidden Files and Folder to place a dot by it. Click on the Apply button, then the OK button.
- Click on Edit at the top of the screen, then Select All, then click on File, then Delete. Answer YES to any of the prompts that appear.
- Once this is done, close all open windows.
- Click on Start, then Run and type in "C:\Documents and Settings", including the quotes, then click on the OK button.
- Double click on the folder named after the login name (e.g. if you're login is "Bob", then double click the folder named Bob)
- Double click the Local Settings folder.
- Double click the Temp folder.
- Click on Edit at the top of the screen, then Select All, then click on File, then Delete. Answer Yes to any of the prompts that appear.
- Once this is done, close all open windows.

This will remove all the unnecessary files that are left over from the installation of other programs, preventing further problems with the installation of other programs.

I tried it a bit but uninstalled as it clashed with Adul's Advanced Combat, so I haven't experienced enough of it to actually form an opinion.

The clashes were infrequent, but rather severe as AAC relies on random strength spikes in its implementation of critical hits and if those happened during level up, GCD panicked and I ended up with zeroed stat and it's base value lost.

Since Morrowind benefits from more interesting combat far more than it does from improved levelling formula, which mainly suffers from trainer mechanics, grindan capability and stat asymmetry (endurance), I kissed GCD goodbye.

Overall I really like AAC, it's modular, doesn't mess with the base mechanics, but rather uses existing elements to add extra layer of complexity to it, such as stat degradation when severely wounded, bleeding, critical hits and so on. It also greatly dimnishes the demigod factor - I was once critted for helluva damage by a kwama forager and barely avoided succumbing either to direct damage or to blood loss... when going down the Red Mountain after having Dagoth Ur's ass soundly kicked.

It's probably my fault as I wasn't wearing greaves as I wanted to cut down on the encumberance - good thing I wasn't playing as mammal, as only a groinshot could do damage this epic - but still.

They say that mages are over powered by this mod. But then again - two facts:
- mages supposed to be superior to warrior, thief, etc. (let me put it this way: even an average mage would rape the best warrior - in most cases ofc - I guess - I'm not sure if it's true or how lore handles it)

Well, I consider mages overpowered even in vanilla, but they require some thinking to unlock this potential and that satisfies me. Mage's primary asset is his intelligence, therefore it's only fitting that mage gameplay should revolve around smart use of vast array of options. I liked how someone barging into a cave, fireballing a Dunmer, trying to paralyze an Orc, hectically attempting to switch between weapon and casting stance, then getting (s)hafted would complain about magic being underpowered and pure casters non-viable, as I would enter the very same cave at the very same level with very same build and make fearsome enemies he encountered roll around in their own piss as I'd poke them to death with a stick at my leisure.

As for the ballance thing in SP I agree - partially. I don't agree with SP games being somehow exempt from need to balance the gameplay, but balance in SP games isn't as crucial as in competitive MP and as such can (and should) take second seat to things like world logic and internal consistency. A guy who honed his ability to bend the laws of physics to his will for hundreds of years will be a bit of a tougher nut to break than a guy who honed his ability to slice people dead for mere dozen.

Hmmm. DraQ, you might want to check this one, if GCD was interfering with other mods on your setup.

Description
How many times have you started a new game of Morrowind, only to think to yourself, "Oh crap, I have to build up my skill X to go along with my skill Y so I can get a 5x multiplier for Stat Z." If you're like us and hate planning this stuff out and just want to play the darn game already, this mod is for you.

What the Madd Leveler mod does is strip out any need to plan your character out in advance. Your statistics will increase automatically as you use your skills, and you won't need to worry about trying to obtain 5x multipliers for leveling up.

This mod is also a skill and attribute uncapper, effectively removing the 100 point limit.

IMPORTANT: Make sure you have read this entire readme before installing this mod, as it makes significant changes to the game!
**(End of Original Documentation Segment)**

Important Notes 1. Mod uploaded at Planet Elder Scrolls by Eisenfaust on behalf of Madd Mugsy, the original creator)

2. I did not create this mod. I am merely uploading this mod here on behalf of Madd Mugsy. I, personally, felt that this mod needed more publicity (especially for those who felt that Galsiah's Character Development was too intrusive). Another advantage to this mod is that it tracks base stats, should some mod screw them up. See readme for complete info

But I never really cared about multipliers, or rather I stopped caring as soon as I discovered how ill suited for powergaming Morrowind is.

When I think of character planning in MW I think of skills I'll want to use, ways to use them synergistically, factions I'll want to join and spells/enchantments I'll create to help my character grow to match the original vision, and that part of character planning is actually pure fun - no less than fiddling around with party compositions in Wizardry 8.

As someone who has always played combat characters in Morrowind, would you mind linking a guide so I don't feel like a retard when I start the game again?

Also, apologies if I am thread hijacking here, but in adition to AAC, what mods are available that increase the immersion level in the game?

You probably played Long blade + shield already. Cripple yourself by playing as a magic-hating, unarmored hand to hand monk then. Or you could even larp that he's a stranded human guy from Earth, maybe a Streetfighter (starting clothes only, and the only spell allowed is fireball).

Use your imagination

I used to have a mod that added a "Sugar Ray Leonard" face texture for Redguard. Played as a boxer. Probably my most memorable playthrough of MW.
