Took it for a spin for five minutes. Seems alright. Gonna play longer later.

The mystery deepens. The dev posted in the steam forums that they never received the kickstarter money, but the reason is due to US sanctions.

Basic gameplay is alright but map is linear like a railway track.

Makes sense if they didn't get their money. Building a game with no funds is painful. Wonder what the story behind that is.
