As totally fucking badass as that sounds, I have to disagree. I don't want to fall in love with the idea of Sommers becoming some kind of Rambo. Somebody has to be there to talk to Horn and monitor CCTV footage so Eddie and our ghoul team know what they're walking into, how many hostiles there are, where to position themselves, etc.

I'm worried that Tony's presence will fuck up unit cohesion as well. Eddie knows how to work with these guys, Tony doesn't.

All true, but having Tony on hand to ensure the Toreador know they owe him, personally, would be useful. We shouldn't neglect the political advantage of having the Toreadors owe us.

Everyone in town knows that Eddie's our right-hand man. If he shows up at the Elysium with a ghouled counter-terrorist, the Toreadors will definitely know that they owe us. Sure, it would be nice to be there personally to direct the situation, but given that Tony is safe on the airfield and probably better off not getting in Eddie's way, I think it's best if he sits back on this one.

So I guess the point of what I'm trying to say is... I really just want an update. Very very badly.

Well, I still like the idea of Eddie monitoring operations with the comms officer nearby, and then once the joint is clear making an entrance to congratulate the team, and Eddie and make a show of himself after he activates presence.

As for cohesion, if it fall into the tub, the way an ambush of shovelheads broke out, our battle plan will fly right out the window anyway, with Tony or not. If it's safe, then no cause to worry.

You are, of course, right. But what Gondolin and I want dosen't necessary mean rambo-like behaviour. We want to enter over the corpses of very much DEAD Sabbat. And pat a victorious Eddie and ghouls on the back.
