It's like an ad for a 80s show. I'm smelling satire to be honest. Like Hans Capon being Henry trusted friend? Sure, they were friends in the original but Hans was not even close to being a sidekick to Henry. I think the trailer is setting up the player for some real shit that's gonna happen in the game.
It's quite possible. Historically speaking, Jan Ptáček(who Hans' charater is based on) does end up opposing the Hussites. That would put him in direct opposition to Radzig, and thus Henry by extension.
You think that Hans and Henry will break their brotherhood and end up as enemies?

Doubt it, but I still think some kind of drama is going to happen.

Was Hans also an historical figure? I guess we could read up what happens to him but I think i'd rather be in the dark.

After losing his old family at the beginning of KCD 1 he will lose his new family at the end or the middle of KCD 2 because those savage heretics killed them in real life.

KCD is one of the greatest rpgs yet it has lesser posts than Vielguard. Codexers love Vielguard more than KCD series. It is a shame.
Are you really this foolish or just trolling? Veilguard has more posts, because it attracts drama. Kingdom Come: Deliverance is known to be a great cRPG, so there is less to talk about and rack up pages.

That is not an excuse to talk about KCD2 and its greatness. You may be a great veilguard fan but its time to focus on great games rather than a failed trilogy

I think you made a mistake in there.

Why? This is great time to laugh at this failure of a game. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 isn't even out yet (11.02.2025 is the supposed release date).

I mean, what are we supposed to talk about? Game isn't out for another 3 months and marketing has been somewhat slow. And even when new trailers drop, the most that can really be said is "Game looks cool." There's just so much they have not shown us, and what they have shown is basically KCD1 but more fully realized.

Methinks the usual suspects at sites like Kotaku and IGN might try to drum up the "muh diversity" drama closer to release, though.

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is.

I hope they do, last time they p. much saved the game's pitiful marketing. Without woketards and their performative drama KCD would've flown way below Kwan mainstream radar.

To be honest I expected somewhat louder buzz around KCD2. Tardy normies like MrMatty posted only now, half a year after the announcement, a video in the vein of "oh wow, what is this game, looks really good". As much as our bubble thinks this is a big baba famous gaym, out there the brand isn't nearly as strong as we imagine.

Henry should just find a fair maiden and get to work...
Or even one from the lower nobility, since Henry himself is not that high on the royalty scale.

Historically, Radzig was killed by a Hussite mob in a particularly brutal fashion. Not necessarily what'll happen in the game though - it already took some liberties (ie. the dude that kills Henry's dad being already dead IRL by that point in time), and more importantly, the loyalties of the czech nobility were rather fluid, as the first game frequently mentioned. For many, joining Hussites was a matter of opportunism rather than faith, and it wouldn't surprise me if the side Radzig and Hans join depends on player's actions
