Watching this thread is a guilty pleasure for me (and, I think, many others). Judging by his twitter feed and even for PoE, I don't think Sawyer is a moron. But it's pretty obvious that something is off with him. I just don't know exactly what.
Sawyer is : Ex fat kid, possibly closeted Catholic, quixotically co-dependent, approval seeking, and just a bit lonely. Oh, and a terrible sense of humor.

While not an autist himself, he has autistic tastes in RPG mechanics.
A good example of how decadent Kwanzanian culture can corrupt fine Aryan man. He should move to the land of his ancestors, to live in peace with himself.
He should go to Czech Republic and make a game with Daniel Vavra. Marrying an innocent tradcath bohemian village girl would be another step in the right direction.
