The first one looks like Amkethran from Throne of Bhaal. I believe the second one is from What Remains, Surf Solar's Fallout mod.

It's from my game, yes, but it's a really outdated one, I've improved a lot of stuff that should be hopefully done soon-ish for the demo.

Always loved 2D game art. Didn't understand why N64 grade graphics took over in the 90s.
That's actually fairly simple. 3D might have looked like ass compared to 2D in static frames until fairly recently, but it looks better in motion and it gives more freedom of presentation.

Let's be honest. John Carmack never was a good game designer. He's a brilliant coder, but I have yet to see a single proof of his positive influence on gameplay or content.
I can give you definite proof of his negative influence - Quake fucking 2.

It should make it evident that apart from inability to desing engaging gameplay, the guy has less imagination in his head than most of the people have in an ass-pimple.

He did make a fine ballast and source of solid codebase for Romero, though.

Whoa, have you tried my UI ? I have never tested it with such a big res and I've always wondered how it looks. It should work fine though.

Tested at 1920x1200 looks fine. Also, if you want to post PST HD screens, do so for city areas. The building design pops out nicely in hd res.
In case you missed it, there's a bug in the widescreen mod for Torment as I mentioned here. It can cause crashes in a couple of locations with extremely high resolutions.

I didn't realize Lionheart was such a beautiful game... After all this time avoiding it like the plague, maybe it's time to try it out.

Don´t do it. The first part of the game in New Barcelona is actually decent, but everything else after that is horrible.

Nope. In fact i think the vibrancy and "oil painting" characteristic of the pastels lends themselves to the dreamlike setting of the game.
