I'm on an actual spaceship. No joke.
Ey if you're looking for mod ideas a mod that would skip straight ahead to being stranded on the beach when you start a new game. Start the character with the xp and items you'd get from playing through the shippy bit. Currently it's a bit of a chore to try out new characters.

In fact, if you've got loads of time and little to do with it, an adventure that would just be a bunch of combat encounters would be wicked. Use one map as a hub, make an NPC with no-filler dialogue allowing you to choose your combat encounter from a list. Or, if you were so inclined, make it a progression of encounters that can be played in order, but make each dialogue option to jump to an encounter start you off with the xp and gold you'd have at that point in the encounter progression, put a vendor somewhere so people can kit themselves out before the fight starts. No one's playing this game for the story anyway.

There's the Start in Fort Joy mod.

I plan to try the game with Armor Based Saving Throws, it basically reduces the effectiveness of armor at stopping status effects depending on how much damage you have done. It also applies to player characters. Should make the game more interesting.
