I knew the Codex would not be the same. A few people laughed, a few people cried. Most people were spamming. I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad-Gita; Vishnu is trying to persuade the Prince that he should do his duty, and to impress him, takes on his multi-headed form and says, 'Now I am become Howard, the destroyer of role players.' I suppose I had thought that, one way or another. All I wanted was to help Codexers out, to incline our boards with everlasting hope for the future, a new way of thinking... but then... then these men in troll uniforms came and took it all away for their own benefit, not caring about how I would feel knowing my creation would be responsible for what you and me now see as the decline. This is a burden I carry alone.
