My point is that the dev seemed butthurt about people saying that their idea suck, and therefore have an ego preventing them from paying a guy that is doubling down on their quirky criticism of capitalism still being shit.
Sseth is big enough to have some creative control. That or maybe they paid him in advance. People do all sorts of dumb things online.

Could be that he liked it and played it though, sure, idk. A whale on Patreon could also have paid him, like I said. It's happened before iirc.
The size of the youtuber doesn't matter most of the times. After the Manscaped bullshit, some youtubers came across and described the whole sponsorship scenario. It's a real tug of war sometimes. Ironically enough, Raid Shadow Legends appeared to be the only sponsor that it's truly relaxed, to a near free for all scenario. Like in some Internet Historian videos he barely talked about it and it was okay. I'm sure some creators have even dissed the game while reviewing it but they haven't complained about it apparently.

Btw, I'm glad Sseth fans are all informing people about just how commie the devs are.

I was going to wait for a sale on this, but it looks like it's another QUD that I'll just skip.

Well, the girl that ropes you into the union stuff is a black lesbian fwiw. Gameplay is great though

I wasn’t able to watch it either, but the name I pulled off Google looks like it’s this game.

The video also wasn’t on his main channel. Google says it was uploaded to his second channel, which I didn’t even know he used anymore.

ive seen it, basically sseth group of friends working hard to to one up each other. It does get old after a while, proper sseth like explanation cutters would work wonders here and there.
Also he apparently formated hard drive where he kept raw footage

Rise of legends setting was the coolest! You have italians piloting giant mechs, wizards riding sand floating manta rays and Aztecs worshipping alien robots masquerading as gods.
Shame about them clearly running out of time and budget as the campaign goes on. I recall that in the Cuotl campaign you could only recruit like two heroes or so - a fat Cuotl rebel guy and an old shaman from the minor faction of mohawk barbarians.
I too liked that Destrucio dude tho i can't really recall why.

I am also surprised about how many things i can recall about this game. Like, Sseth didn't mention about the sand mage hero you can recruit in that defense against the salamanders mission if you fullfil a certain condition.
Also had that animation of the fire dragon exploding into an enemy only to reappear right after burned into my brain.
