I am just sharing emerging accusations, so others may investigate and perhaps question his integrity (especially with him making a career of this). In short use their higher brain functions, unlike zombies. Ironically, for someone refereed to as, PulsatingBrain, you seem to lack one, again, like the undead.

Since when, was it legal or acceptable to claim content that isn't yours
I'm gonna claim your post as my own and there's nothing you can do about it.

What I think he is saying, is that the footage Sseth has used and the stories he is telling of "his" experiences with the game were stolen from various Bay12 forum members and passed off as being sseth's.

Which wouldn't surprise me too much, but I honestly don't care either - the value in a sseth video is in the humor and trying to ID what pornography he snuck into the video.

Maybe he meant the foota.. er, I mean "performance art" that appeared between 0:30-0:50. It sure does look like something that emerged from something called the "bay12 forums".

Yeah, pretty much this. It's like when stand up comedians tell a story like it happened to them, while it is obvious that he just probably heard it somewhere. Nobody gives a shit as long it is entertaining.

All this time I thought Sseth was a paragon of truth and virtue :negative:

I've seen no proof of anything yet. Still though, if he did use clips from other videos A) I don't think he's ever expressly said he didn't do that, so he wasn't dishonest there and B) It doesn't fucking matter. The shit he says about the games makes sense and it's funny, he clearly knows what the fuck he's talking about

And is there a proof that he is not the guy that posted the story?

From the description:

I couldn't record everything, so some of the background footage is sourced from several prolific DF youtubers. Check them out. They're very informative. https://www.youtube.com/kruggsmash/
https://www.youtube.com/Das24680/
https://www.youtube.com/NeptunesNookG...
There are also comments on the video saying that seth had deleted a comment from one of the linked Youtubers.

I think he did it before for some other videos. I don't care that not all the content is his, but I think he should acknowledge that he's taking it and give a link.

Huh, earlier today Sseth uploaded his vids to his twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/cookmysock672/videos

Comments section of the DF video is full of people talking about the used footage and stories. The description links to bay12 and others now, but not sure if that was done _after_ the fact or before since I didn't pay attention before.

is there any proof of this, or you guys already becoming CNN2? Even if it did, probably forgot a few, if he already posted links to some of them. Edgy weirdos.

Love it when jewtubers get demonetized, get a real job.

What difference is it to you? Exchanging entertainment for ad views, then getting paid, is a job if it's paying your bills and shit. The only possible reason for your attitude is jealousy.

Even if you never watched Youtube again, the audience it draws away from TV has definitely got TV execs worried. Think of the monopoly they had before streaming sites like YT and Netflix. It's certainly been a significant factor in the renaissance of TV drama over the last 10 years or so.

I'd go as far as to say that serialised drama is even kind of blowing cinema out of the water over like the last decade, and it's in large part because they're actually having to try hard for the views

I can be jealous of pewdiepie but people like him are rare. Others will have to worry about paying bills in a few years unless "minecraft streamer 2013-2018" or "making gaming videos with soyface on a thumbnail 2016-2020" will become something desirable for job recruiters.

His videos are funded via patreon.

And he's making 2395$ per video. Also considering his content, I don't think he could have relied on monetization for long.

For Dwarf Fortress, apparently one of the guy who got his footage "borrowed" complained, but the comment's been deleted. I don't see any problem in him using other's people video, but he should acknowledge it before being called on it.

So? Why do you give a fuck? They landed a sweet, comfy gig, even if it's just for a while, and for this reason, you're happy when it falls apart? You sound like someone people would avoid speaking to in your "real" place of work

Tbh not sure where you're going with this.
My "real job" involves sleeping in my office, playing video games, hazing interns, posting on RPGCodex, and occasionally fixing bugs, reviewing code, or helping a coworker.
Average youtube content creator probably puts in a lot more effort than I do for less pay.

Some skills acquired in a YT career can be transferable, like video editing, storyboarding, community management/communication, writing, reporting. Of course I'd rather flip burgers than do any (most, video editing is fun) of that shit.

That and neither of the descriptions of derivative content he has applies to young Ssethicals.

I see. When using so many videos (which i believe he used from others) he probably forgot to mention all. If he used one of my videos, i wouldn't fucking care that much, its a lets play ffs, i would probably troll him a little (i dont make videos, just saying).

So much drama queens ffs. It gives me a twitter deja vu ffs.
