We will have different move sets for different types of weapons as well (swords and axes for instance). So not only 1h, 2h will have differences, but also 1h sword will have some changes compared to 1h axe.
This feature with axe passing happens only with an axe, but not with a sword.
We will give an access to magic in remake to players earlier, than it is in original.
The modification "The Chronicles Of Myrtana: Archolos" isn't canon, but just an incredible modification.
We appreciate the work of the Chronicles Of Myrtana team for their creativity and dedication to the Gothic community.
In Gothic 1 Remake we will expand the game in different directions, as well as the stories and backgrounds of some characters, whose roles in the original game were not so significant.
There will be different body types, heights, sizes etc. It is all work in progress still.
Perfect representation of germany.Gothic series is the god father of 3rd person western style rpg. It looks dark, dull, ugly, drab, gloomy and every characters look like neanderthal.

I mean, Gothic already had several black guys, and if they added some new lines for the game's female "characters" it would honestly be an improvement. The fact that all they said in the original was "you're not allowed to talk to us" was a bit dull. What are you expecting, a fourth faction camp of jews and gypsies you have to save from a pogrom like KCD2?Sure as hell do not pre-order this.
Alkimia & THQ Nordic are owned by Embracer Group. This company is responsible for pushing diversity & inclusion quotas on developers. KCD2 is one such recent example. Warhorse was acquired in 2019, one year after they released KCD1.
Wait until release and see if it is infection free.
There was nudity in the OG but it was censored in the international version. There was a pinup you could buy/steal from the cartographer and a naked chick bathing in Gomez' chambers.I fear they may take a more "mature" approach with the remake. I like the lighthearted tone of the original, where there are tons of killing and weed, yet no nudity, excesive gore, or hard swearing. It's a very charming balance.

They'll insert a bunch of alphabet people. Probably make a few pre-existing characters into cocksuckers - let's hope not.In Gothic 1 Remake we will expand the game in different directions, as well as the stories and backgrounds of some characters, whose roles in the original game were not so significant.
And still not make all characters killable at any time. They'll insert a bunch of alphabet people
I would guess Xardas's tower? The scale of it feels a bit absurd, though. Xardas is still a prisoner inside the barrier, he doesn't live in a palace.

And why are you posting on an internet forum instead of rectifying that mistake?I've never played any of the Gothic games,
Hopefully, if there's any indecency in the remake, our resident modder Berzee will make one of his modesty mods and correct the situation. There was nudity in the OG but it was censored in the international version. Because I'm a console pleb and never played games on PC. I don't even own one anymore either. Even if I did I would be too lazy and too much of an noob with computers to probably get something like Gothic running properly sadly. I know it isn't exactly hard to do as you just follow the guides etc. In all I guess I'm sorry for not being some PC gamer who has been on this site for many years. And why are you posting on an internet forum instead of rectifying that mistake?
