Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Codex Year of the Donut Codex+ Now Streaming! Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Most stores have some kind of small weekly type sales going on at any time but GOG does seem to have store wide sales that affect thousands of titles more often than Steam or other store

I think Steam has more games on sale all the time, what GOG seems to do is to make random collections based on the games on sale and some arbitrary theme/tag they have in common and make a sale out of them, but aside from the winter/summer/Christmas sales they are never a big deal on the site - they're just a search result with some optional banner image on top.

Are they even good?
The "karma" system is predictable and juvenile and the games make you way too powerful for what is supposed to be a horror game, but as ERYFKRAD said, they have great atmosphere and the gameplay is enjoyable. Also, Stan Winston worked on the monsters, so they have great designs, which helps compensate for the lack of enemy variety.

The monster you can transform in also changes based on your karma and whether it is good or bad.

Apparently Metal Gear Solid 2 was on GOG but was delisted for some reason and unlikely to return thanks to MGS Master Collection on Steam :argh:

Whoa! Unexpected. I never even got a KS notification on this. I bought physical extras.

Edit--- bah my notifications were turned off. Downloaded and confirmed both GOG & STEAM codes. On Backerkit I downloaded The comics, the strategy giude, the map, and the soundtrack. I'm sure later they will talk about the physical orders. Well, happy Thursday news.

So I've noticed that GOG has been sending me emails to the address that I have GOG registered to, and I apparently get exclusive discounts on games thanks to that. Alright. They don't say what the discount is, or even what the original price of the game is, but I guess that's not the important part, it's the thought that counts?

They've been spamming me with those for a long time, but in their infinite wisdom they seem to be completely random so I'm yet to see one that would apply to a game I'm even remotely interested in.

Yeah, the games seem to be rather random, but it's more baffling to me that they don't say what the price is. Wasteland 3 is on discount. Ok, great, what's the discount? Discounted from what? They want me to click the link from their ad, log in to my account, apply the code, so I can see what the discount is? When they want to sell me something? Who came up with this and why?
