Okay, I am actually autistic.

Had texture filtering on bilinear by default (didn't even check if the game had this option). Switched it and now the game looks even better, hooray.

Still doesn't answer why water texture uses point filtering when you switch it to bilinear.

I kinda forgot about this game but I'm still interested in the finished product. I checked the update page and the devs are still putting out patches more or less constantly so that's cool.

It's a setting that can be set per-texture in modern engines, so the texture was probably overridden to always have filtering disabled.

Since 2014 apparently. Not sure how close they say they are to a release but might be time to consider the vapourware tag.
Vapourware is something that was announced and heavily advertised, but never actually available to the public. People play Gloomwood for years already and it's really good even in uncomplete stage

People here act like they are new to Slow Blood Interactive. Did any of their games aside from Dusk and Amid Evil made it to release yet?

Hell... even Fallen Aces dev said the work on Ep2 will not start until 2025 even though he will improve what there in the meantime. They are all stoned 24\7. Just look at Dave Oshry posting history. If Oshry can keep his company running with this release schedule good on him i guess.

They are still better than 3Dcucks in every way.

Despite some cringe and his love of TYPING IN CAPS HALF THE TIME i think Oshry is an ok dude. He is the kind of CEO that would get himself-inserted into Wasteland 2 as the scummiest most annoying character so you could kill him.

Look at Gloomwood's update history, it's updated pretty regularly every 2-3 months and is actually the fastest/most updated New Blood game. Everyone likes to shit on it for "taking forever" but since it's been purchasable it's worked on constantly. Compare this to Fallen Aces, mentioned above, or Ultratranny which gets like 1 update a year at this point and is still far from finished. Also the dev uploads frequently to his youtube channel little snippets of new gameplay features/mechanics he's working on.
