I'd like to add the water bowl and the glowing box in the back... except my apartment is already maxxed out at 100 decorations.

Also like the box and the bag of lemons and the small fountain. Too bad you can't place outdoor furnishings inside your house/apartment. Stupid limitation.

Airship mount? Or a decoration for the island sanctuary?

More jumping puzzles is nice, though it would be nice if they came out at a faster rate.

New PvP arena might be fun.

New MSQ trial and alliance raid requires ilevel 595 to enter. I'm currently 588 and don't feel like spending hours grinding tedious chores to reach the ilevel requirement right now so I might not get around to the story for a while.

You don't need to... Use the Tomestones and in the endwalker zones you get fantastic gear. There is also the manderville epic legendary weapon if you did the manderville quest. My item level at the moment is 600. Go to Radz-At-Han to the tomestone vendor.

You know my take is this. Having played a lot of mmo usually the content that gets in is time-gated behind useless grinds that are designed to waste your time. This game actually content is content in a sense that you don't end in situation where you have to kill x mobs in order to farm rep to keep going with the questline which is sadly something that plagues many mmo. Releasing a patch or expansion with little content and then put time gates to make to progress that content way slower than it should.

Great way of explaining it. Emet-Selch was pretty ascendant and ascetic himself with a soft side but besides him, Venat, Hermes, and the other dude I forget the name of were basically silly sheltered pot-smoking leftists with Venat at least getting redpilled on the necessity of suffering when their actions fuck their world irreparably.

HorizonXI is the go-to oldschool server now. I haven't found the time to really get into it, but everything I've experienced from it is incredibly professional, honestly.

I'd have to disagree. The servers keep being taken down for maintenance on short notice, and then when they go back up and supposedly everything is fixed, lo and behold something breaks and the devs take the servers back down again. Also, server maintenance during US prime time. Given the sheer amount of time invested doing anything (1 hour organizing a party and travelling and finding camp spots, the gil spent on 1k chocobo rentals and airship rides, the consequences for death, etc), the serial server maintenances make it hard to play. Perhaps I've been spoiled by the professionalism of Ascension WoW's server stability and polish. Never had a problem there.

I appreciate that that's annoying, but given it has significant playerbases from NA, Europe, and Japan/Oceania, this was always going to be an issue for someone.

By professionalism I especially referred to their rather polished launcher, and everything just working without having to deal with obscure shit (even compared to the retail version).
