The thing is that atleast in legion route shit makes sense , like the Northern Legion leader is reformist, so he makes legion less horrible but loses the core, in the ending he does massive ammount of reforms, Caesar tells him to revert them and he rebels. so Yeah legion becomes less horrible under him but i dont think it will last. He is basically trying to run legion like state when that is not what Caesar intended since he wanted to merge NCR and Legion. by either winning and merging the civilisations or if legion collapse force NCR to in process of destroying the Legion to change to be more like Legion. Northern Legion is basicalist reformists trying to reform but in process of feroming legion reforming Legion away.

It still doesn't make sense. What would have made more sense is if the Legion hired independent contractors like mercs, slavers or bounty hunters to do some of their dirty work. After all the Legion in Van Buren did hire female contractors to do some of their work. It's just they can't serve the Legion proper. They could have also added a bit of lore in that if you are a female character and side with the Legion you can ask those women why they are working with the Legion and they would tell you that, like you (It has been mention on here that a female Courier that sides with the Legion isn't really part of the Legion proper but is more or less a contractor), they are independent contractors that the Legion hired and that the Legion, despite some of their members sexism, do pay their contractors well. They also could have added that since the Northern Legion is short on manpower their leader doesn't want to waste the resources of men to go on things like slave runs or scouting. For that he can hire local contractors to do some of that work. They can't be picky right now.

Since this mod was made and is supported by some very special people that are very special in the head, I decided to write something about them.

Where do they come from?
In in the modern world we often encounter the typical "left wingers" and "sjws" for lack of better words. Most people, however, do not realise what is the cause of these people having major societal influence and why did they seemingly appear out of nowhere.

Their tenets:
Freedom
Brotherhood
Equality

Freedom: It is important to realise that modern meaning of freedom is actually antithesis of its ancient meaning as it was used by Plato for example. In its modern usage it represents the idea of limitless expansion i.e. the ability to "do what you want". It is intrinsically a destructive process. In contrast we have the ancient idea of freedom. This ancient noble idea of freedom is the ability to free yourself from unwarranted thoughts - to be master of your thoughts, to have will of steel - one can see that the ancients would have laughed at the "free people of today". They are in fact slaves unable to rise above the worst of desires.

They see the notion of discipline and purity as evil precisely because they lack these qualities.

Brotherhood and Equality
"We are all equal" they scream at the top of their lungs. They are never able to explain in what way we are all equal, though. Every individual is endowed with different set of inborn characteristics that make him who he is. This has already been apparent to people in ancient Greece, but today it is a big no no to suggest that you might inherit from your parents something more than the shape of your nose. Actual mutants
When we look at the strictly human genome, most of it is the brain as it is our most delicate organ. It is then clear that most mutations manifest in the brain and thus behaviour. Child mortality rate has dropped significantly since the industroal revolution resulting in the accumulation of mutational load in the population. Simply said, people who would not survive under normal darwinian selection are now breeding freely spreading their mutant genes further. In the light of this thread, it is pretty funny to see them shit themselves in fear by a mere thought of someone playing the enclave eradicating impure humans. At the beginning of the 20th century issue of eugenics was a matter taken seriously by all advanced countries. Eugenics have been denounced not in the wake of some fantastical scientific finding that we are all equal, but by political pressure after WW2.

They live in a constant paranoia of everyone being a nazi because the moment the healthy and strong (read pure) people rise up to power and see these mentally derranged people for what they are - it's their end.
