Why would you want to make the game even easier that it already is ?Was looking for an older version of Lootable Armor mod that let you grab Adv Power Armor MK2 from bodies (especially those at crashed verbird in Klamath), but for some reason is absent in recent version. Something about "balancing" or whatever... in a game where MK1 PA is available in the first hour if you are lucky with random encounters.
Turns out it's in the vanilla Restoration Project, not upgraded one from github.

Works that way in vanilla too.Killap unofficial patch makes Navarro's run a bit harder by having it not appear on the map if you don't already have a quest to go there.
You could use F2wedit to change the Hardened Power Armor appearance and resistances to be identical to the Advanced Power Armor Mark II. I suppose you’re not interested in just cheating, or you could simply use something like the Interplay’s Mapper to drop the armor on the ground, near a city’s entrance. You can buy (or send him into a cold sweat) the upgrade with Crocket, after infiltrating/joining the hubologists cult, after overwriting the item in F2wedit.the jump from Adv PA to Adv PA MK2 is just a numberWhy would you want to make the game even easier that it already is ?Was looking for an older version of Lootable Armor mod that let you grab Adv Power Armor MK2 from bodies (especially those at crashed verbird in Klamath), but for some reason is absent in recent version. getting Adv PA before getting leather armor is game changer
It just irks me that theree's best armor in the game and it's not available on the main land - and in the endgame you might not even use it (turrets+convinced squad)
I'll check that one laterF2wedit
Why don't we already have a general thread for these games?
Currently playing Fallout 2 and I ran into an obnoxious issue. In Fallout 1 whenever I changed the resolution to 800x600 Windowed mode, the game now boots up in it automatically. In Fallout 2 despite this boots up in 640x480, is there anyway to fix this or am I missing something? I hate manually changing this every time the game boots up.
I did a search and couldn't find a thread dedicated to +50 IQ discussion on Fallout. So please delete this if I was too stupid to find one.
I'm playing 'Bethesda's' Fallout 1, and I got to the general merchant in the hub. Now I haven't played in over 10 years or more, but distinctly remember he had x3 different inventories based on whichever table you interacted with. I remember because this was where I developed my sexual kink for inventory management.
Except in this version of the game there's no purse within backpack within satchel for me to access. This is seriously bothering me. Did I mis-remember this? I had all my meds and drugs in one satchel, all the radioactive equiptment in another, and all the ammo in another one. That's how I played Fallout 1.
I don't think I can continue playing if this isn't as it was in the original.
