Fallout is back in the news due to controversy over its connection with notorious sexual predator Chris Avellone.

Stop playing Fallout in 1080p... Please! This is eye cancer.

Yeah. My default F2 rez nowadays is 800x600. Only change to XXX768 because my monitor force it.

Even if you play on HD big flat screen, play at 1080 is asking for troubles.

Yo, I heard it's totally impossible to avoid combat in this game if you want to play some kind of brave diplomat.
Fallout 1 quests solvable only by combat:

1) Killian/Gizmo situation. One of them should be killed, no compromise.
2) Killing barkeep if siding with Skulz in Junktown.
3) Helping Farmer in Hub. Raiders could only be killed.
4) Rescuing BoS initiate from Hub. Kidnappers could only be killed.
5) Working for Decker/Taking him down, requires some killing.
6) Killing Deathclaws to clear the way to Gun Runners.
7) Blades/Regulators situation, one group should be eliminated.
Can't some of those be completed by placing an explosive in NPCs pockets and run/hide?

The best kind, the kind that adapts to the challenges thrown at me.

ERYFKRAD said "brave diplomat" that avoids combat, not "pacifist diplomat" that doesn't know any other way of fixing a problem than just talking.

Sneakily exploding some people isn't combat.
:evilcodex:

Everyone knows that some people only listen to the BOOM diplomacy.
