I doubt it.
Bethesda does not fix bugs unless it's atom shop related or prevents the game from running on consoles. Heck, they didn't even fix bugs they CLAIMED to have fixed in the last patchnotes. :hahano:

Todd's goonies are really abusing this game to test how far they can push their gullible customers.
Now that season pass crap that the majority of players will never be able to complete, unless they pay atoms to do so.
Challenges autocompleting without rewards, the customer service going "Sorry, we don't refund progress lost to bugs. But you could always pay 150 atoms to make up for lost progress."

The only thing missing is a picture of Todd twirling his mustache.

So to sum it up: you have no idea about the game, how or even IF those utility things have any impact on gameplay, but you just wanted to jump on the bandwagon and parrot stuff people trying to look edgy said 6 months ago.

And p2w, regardless of your definition, requires an advantage over players who do not have it. None of that even qualifies. Not even the scrap-/repairkits. Scrapkits are useless and you get better repairkits ingame for free.
The collectrons' purpose is to waddle around in your camp and say funny lines. Or propaganda in case of my Commietron. He brings a whooping 2 hammers, 1 water and a propagande leaflet each hour.
I only bought him because I am still sitting on over 5k atoms from last year. From just playing the game for a month.

Heck, the whole reason for that season pass is because people are getting too much atoms for free. You can easily make 50 per day with the daily challenges plus, dunno, 200 with the weekly one. Stuff like "pick 10 mushrooms, eat 10 mushrooms, smoke 10 mushrooms". No wonder they want to remove that, only entitled babbies pay for atoms.

Also people wanted private servers to get a special snowflake single player feeling, Todd offered them for 10 bucks a month. Don't blame the seller, laugh at the buyer. Ironically most of those people have realized that the only endgame are events, that are not really doable solo. So they are back. And the "unlimited storage" is only for scrap btw.

The autism must be hittin me pretty hard, cuz this thread feels confusing as fuck.
... so its okay to poke fun at Bethesda for stacking a big ass pile of monetization schemes (under the lie that it would be cosmetics "only") on top of a broken game or not?! :retarded:

You can get everything in the mtx store just by playing the game, and none of it(at least when I last played) provided any tangible benefit.
The only thing close to 'p2w' was the scrapbox with the fallout 1st membership.

https://bethesda.net/community/topic/418411/legendary-perk-updates-feedback-and-discussion-part-2?language%5B%5D=en

You will be able to unlock your first Legendary Perk slot at level 50, and new ones at certain level milestones after that: 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, and 300.

In this iteration of the PTS, we’ve re-enabled Legendary Perks so that you can try out new changes we’ve made since Legendary Perks were last available for play testing.

Please note that Legendary Perks are not launching with Update 21, but we want to bring them to the PTS early so that there’s plenty of time for you to share your feedback and report any bugs you may find.

Legendary Perk Updates in this PTS
With our latest round of updates for Legendary Perks, we’re adding 15 new Perk Cards, removing a few that didn’t receive positive feedback, and making an adjustment to Perk Card scrapping:

Perk Card Scrapping

  • In the last PTS, some players felt forced into scrapping their golden Perk Cards because they offered more Perk Coins than other cards. We don’t want you to have to scrap your collection of golden cards, and so they will now award the same amount of Perk Coins as normal Perk Cards when scrapped.
New Legendary Perks

We’re planning to add 15 new Legendary Perk Cards to the game. Here are a few that we wanted to highlight, but be sure to head into the PTS to try out the rest.

  • Legendary S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Perks: We’ve added a new Legendary Perk Card for each S.P.E.C.I.A.L. attribute that will increase your stat in the chosen category, allowing you to equip additional normal Perk Cards. These cards can be upgraded to increase the stat bonuses they offer. While each attribute still caps at 15 points, these new perks can help you round out your character build.
  • Master Infiltrator: A frequent request from the community, this Legendary Perk Card will allow you to automatically pick locks and hack terminals. It can be upgraded to auto-unlock higher-level locks and terminals.
  • Ammo Factory: When equipped, you will produce bonus rounds when crafting ammunition. The bonus amount increases as you upgrade Ammo Factory, and it stacks with other Perk Cards, like Ammosmith and Super Duper.
Legendary Perk Removals

  • Following community feedback from the last PTS, we are removing Botany Buddy, Thin Skinned, Suited Up, and Heavy Duty from the Legendary Perk Card lineup.
Last time Legendary Perks were available, we implemented design changes that allowed players to pay 1 Perk Coin to swap a Legendary Perk selection without needing to wait until they unlocked a new Legendary Perk Slot. We also added the ability to save Legendary Perk selections even if the player hadn’t filled all available Slots. These changes are still available in addition to everything mentioned above.

Legendary Perks System Refresher
If you weren’t familiar with Legendary Perks from the last PTS, or just want a refresher, here are some details on how this system works:

  • Legendary Perks are new high-level Perk Cards you can access via the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Menu, and you can equip them to add even more power to your character builds.
  • You will be able to unlock your first Legendary Perk slot at level 50, and new ones at certain level milestones after that: 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, and 300.
    • Your characters who are already high-level will immediately have access to one Legendary Perk Slot for each of the above leveling milestones they've reached.
      • For example, a level 250 character will have access to 5 Legendary Perk slots, with the ability to open a sixth slot at level 300.
  • Each Legendary Perk has 4 Ranks, and you can use new “Perk Coins” to rank them up.
    • Earn Perk Coins by scrapping your unused normal Perk Cards.
  • Legendary Perk slots are account-wide, so create new characters, assign Perks to those available slots, and share your feedback on how the early game now feels for experienced players experimenting with new alts.
Please feel free to share your feedback as replies to this thread once you’ve had the chance to try out these Legendary Perk changes in the PTS. Thank you, and we can’t wait to hear what you think!

Oh dear. I support the need to have the lockpick perks not take up slots, but auto success? Is that 3 seconds minigame too much for the consoletards...
There are only a handful mandatories, lvl 0 of course, otherwise you just pick ammo crates for some ammo (duh!) or safes for tech data. Which you can farm much easier at whitsprings. So technically you could live without picking locks at all.
I bet half of the players don't even pick lockpicking perks, or get them after they have everything else.

Edit: apparently that legendary perk gives you all lockpicking card effects without needing to slot them on top. So it's not all "classic Bethesda" this time. :hahano:

The season pass removes the daily and weekly challenges that gives easy Atoms. It rewards less Atoms 1.5k for 10-11 weeks, compared to around 4k+ previously.
Completing Season Pass can be difficult so some people will buy atoms to complete it since there are now no easy atoms to get.
The late rewards for Season Pass are cosmetics so you don't need it but FOMO makes ppl want it.

Rusty was talking about the MTX store before the season pass. now that there are no easy atoms.

In the end more $ for Todd.
Also some ppl have competed the season pass by using exploits.

Why are you guys even feeding this low effort troll? He has already exceeded his maximum post allowance for this year, let him rest now.
All he did was arriving late for the bandwagon, necroing old stuff nobody cares about anymore and failing at basic comprehension.
That's not even worth a participation award.

Oh, I know what Rusty was talking about, I don’t even really disagree with it, I find it weird the need to repeat that again when no one was even saying otherwise.

I already stated where I stand on all this “pay 2 win” shit, fact is there is no solid definition for it, for some people any slight advantage in-game via real-cash is “p2p”, others it’s only “p2p” if the content is locked behind the payment, other go full-retarded and take the term in the literal sense and as long as you don’t “win” at the game, it’s not “p2p”.

Personally, I don’t really give a shit what terms people want to use to describe it, I’m completely fine if you want to call it “p2w” or not, however, if you add a season pass, on top of a optional monthly fee, on top of a cash-shop (That goes against what was original promised, “pay-2-win” or not, it’s certainly not “only cosmetics” they are selling there) on top of a base-price, on a game with the amount of problems that Fallout is known to have, yeah… Ima poke some fun at it.

Also yes, no doubt, easy money for daddy todd.

This game feels like anarchy with no parental supervision right now. Yesterday I logged in and saw "line in the sand" up. Everyone and their mother is now exploiting the survival tent to block the spawn and let the enemies fall from the sky on tight spot. Then the TSE clone army goes to town on them. Seriously, it feels like they are handing them out for free somewhere now.
Finishing the season shit is just yet another exploit, followed by classic gamer mental gymnastics: if Beth didn't want us to do it, they would have fixed it AMIRITE???
"I oNlY uSeD wHaT tHe GaMe GaVe Me!!11111!!"
"hOw WaS i sUpPoSeD tO kNoW tHeRe ArE nO mInIgUnS wItH nUkEs????? I lEgAlLy BoUgHt ThIs WeApOn FrOm A pLaYeR!!!!!1111"

In a normal game people would get banned for this shit, but those are "paying customers". If they pay for Todd's blow each month, Beth let them do what they want. Heck, they don't even ban the NW cheaters. The hacks are apparently so commonly known, they have "official names" already people use to describe them. :hahano:

If a crew is determined enough to server hunt "Line in the Sand", more power to them. The other stuff isn't new.

I'm really happy with the update. Teaming up gives nice flexible bonuses, easier to share perks, and more free fast travel around the map. The Legendary Run has great art, music, and rewards.

Previous updates were underwhelming, but this last one is very good.

See what I mean... "The game is pure anarchy, hackers and exploiters do whatever they want without any sort of repercussion, and Bethesda only fixes the bugs that directly affect their income”, meanwhile players just want proper dedicated servers for a “special snowflake single player feeling”, it’s not like they have been begging for multiplayer options in Bethesda games for years to the point of throwing cash at mods such as “Skyrim Together”, or that maybe they just want a more “normal game” sort of experience ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Its just confusing as fuck, but hey! At least it’s amusing to read.

Installed this to give it a look since it's on game pass, now. Pretty sure I'll bounce off it and bail quickly but if I dicked with Brotherhood of Steel I can dick with this a little.

Status report: I am now level 3 and I got a few pipe pistols and have a few quests and my eyes are glazing over. I think I've already seen more stat checks than the entirety of Fallout 4, but even the stupid looting and shooting which was Fallout 4's strength is feeling a bit worse. Everything feels slightly floaty and slow. Not sure I'm going to go beyond this point. I never even did all the DLC for Fallout 4.

Edit: but only in Asia
Don't worry, it's such a yuge success in China, Todd has decided to dump it on us well. Soon (tm).
The "offline" FO shelter has shown there is an endless stream of suckers in the west, willing to throw their money in Todd's general direction.

FO:S had already created over 100 million dollar revenue up to last year. With development costs of a few dollar plus change. Best deal.
I remember when I tried it out, most of the assests were actually from FO THREE. They had that thing lying around for ages, just slapped some FO4 sprites on top of it and called it a day. :hahano:

Hi everyone,

We just issued a new wave of account actions against players who chose to abuse a recent duplication exploit that we addressed with a hotfix earlier today. In some cases, these accounts received suspensions, while the most egregious offenders received permanent bans from Fallout 76. We continue to take duping and exploit abuse very seriously, and strive to address these issues as soon as we possibly can when they come up.

If you believe you’ve discovered an exploit or have encountered another player using an exploit, please let us know by submitting a ticket to our Customer Support Team and we will take appropriate action.

Guess that means too many people have cancelled their FO frrrrst account and wrote "I can't make money in this game anymore, too many dupers". :hahano:

Initially many suspensions were given, now BSG mass converted those suspensions to perm bans. Anyone got banned here?

Legendary Run ranks can be purchased with Atoms starting today.

Good. If they can't fix their own shit, at least make people think twice before exploiting it like there is no tomorrow, fuck them.
