Have they finally put the franchise to sleep? Rejoice if so. Let the vault boy slumber in peace, he deserves it.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
You know, they also have a Montreal studio. Perhaps that's the one making Fallout 76? I can't imagine Todd wouldn't want to make Star Field in his own Maryland studio.... but whatever.

It's probably the Austin office, which was BattleCry Studios until it was rebranded a couple of months ago.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bethesda_Game_Studios_Austin

Bethesda Game Studios Austin (formerly BattleCry Studios LLC) is an American video game developer based in Austin, Texas. It was founded on October 3, 2012, as subsidiary of ZeniMax Media, headed by long-time industry professional Rich Vogel as its president.[1] BattleCry Studios is seeking employees with experience in microtransactions and free-to-play games.[2]

On May 28, 2014, BattleCry Studios announced their first game, BattleCry.[3] On September 10, 2015, it was reported that BattleCry Studios had laid off a "substantial portion" of their staff.[4] On October 7, 2015, the development on BattleCry was halted for the studio to work on different projects.[5] In September 2017, Vogel announced that he had left BattleCry Studios in favor of Certain Affinity.[6]

In March 2018, the studio was rebranded as Bethesda Game Studios Austin, making it the third studio under the Bethesda Game Studios banner within Bethesda Software.[7]

What this stinky pile of shit is even doing in RPG subforum? I would say that that Tactical Gaming would be most suitable, but since it's coming from Bethesda, the only reasonable place would be a toilet, just a second away from flushing.

Grab the Codex by the pussy
The pieces all fit together neatly enough. Bethesda no doubt started work on this project right around the time ARK, Rust et al. were hitting peak popularity, salivating at the opportunity to find another hole in Fallout's corpse to fuck and cash in on the juicy DLCs and microtransactions.

Too bad for them that the market is pretty well saturated and the kiddies are all moving to battle royale games anyway.

Hey Blaine we're going to play this one together too, right? +M

It wouldn't be Bethesda if their attempt to cash in on a trend wasn't a failure in some way.

Hey faggots it's like all these other multiplayer games out now. Prepare to see wacky hats! Naked avatars! Mutants and loot crates!

Investigation over. Now let's all get together with blackjack and hookers and make a real Fallout RPG; call it Fuckout, wth the mascot appropriately named Fuckboy, and roll in the big bucks.

Imagine if that's the only thing from BGS at E3. Holy shit the backlash even from their fanbase. Starfield can save them PR wise, but the thing is that Bethesda never worked on more than one project at a time. So even if there is Starfield then studio is split on two projects and thats never good thing.
