Some screenshots that demonstrate the visual atmosphere of the game during the opening chapter (well, the 3rd one is from the open world)

By the way I took out the Loading Times Fix mod because apparently it can cause some issues. Not comfortable using it until I know for sure that it won't corrupt game saves

Why the fuck are people going on about spending money on this when it's fucking free
I have been on the Codex for years and have seen the level drop year after year. The IQ is dropping, and in all honesty, it pains me. It feels like a part of the collapse of civilization, but I feel like it's my mission, almost a vocation, to educate and help people on the Codex. It's a bit like being a social worker, or dare I say, doing humanitarian work.

Earlier in the thread, people mentioned buying it again on GOG to have an easier installation process. I should point out again that installing Fallout: London requires owning all the DLC. Many people never bought them because there was little incentive to get them all. Therefore, it comes at a cost despite the mod being free.

15 bucks big deal get a job.
I am sure you wanted to help me prove my point about the Codex IQ melting faster than the North Pole ice cap, but it was not needed. You'll never get rich, without inheriting, if you throw away $15 for useless stuff all the time. Likewise, you'll never see me buying skins in online games and so on. It's one of my principles to not waste money on stupid things.

I'm impressed with what I've seen of Fallout: London so far. I had some teething issues with multiple crashes and the only fix that worked for me was switching all the graphical settings to low so I hope I'll be able to increase them soon after some stability patches...

Oddly I didn't have a single crash initially. Everything up until just after finishing the introduction was buttery smooth (including the train ride). It was only after that point that I had to mess around with the settings.

Played some more. Kudos to Yosharian guide (thou not all mods worked) no crashes. Got to Thames, it ain't bad. The world, asset quite impressive for the mod. Voice acting ain't bad either. Writing to be seen, so far it varied. The combat is fucking worse, AI is all over the place. The fact that some enemies spawn from underground and than get stuck into geometry :retarded:

xSE PluginPreloader didn't allowed me to even load the game and long loading times but you've update the guide I see with that one.

Hmm odd. That one definitely works for me. Not sure why it wouldn't.

I'm having issues with See-Through Scopes, I think it might need to be the Add version rather than Replacer

Strap Yourselves In Serpent in the Staglands Shadorwun: Hong Kong Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
Alright chaps and chaplettes, I have finished revising my FOLON page it should be much easier to follow now. I've also updated the modlist, there are some gems on there as well as a needed fix so make sure you check it out.

Is my primitive barbarian brain correct in understanding that this setup allows you to run Fallout-Londinium as a separate instance from Fallout 4

Not by following those instructions, no. Your options there are to find someone who can explain to you how to do it, or buy the GOG.com version of FO4 and just use that exclusively for FOLON

I think it's possibly easy to set up a separate instance of the game but I have no idea and no real interest in setting it up, I think Gopher knows how to do it so maybe check out his channel

Regarding the state of Fallout London right now, I think it's very playable but there a fair amount of bugs such as quest bugs that are probably going to be fixed in the first big patch so I would say if you're not desperate to play it it would probably be better to wait for at least one patch

How's the quality of the writing tho?
I don't have enough time spent in the mod yet to judge that

Initial impressions, if you forced me to say something based on what I've seen so far... it's extremely well localised, but it's just average writing aside from that
