So is this game good or what? I played the first mission and was turned off by the shitty pixel graphics. I hate pixel graphics to begin with but the art here seems shitty even for pixel graphics. I also find it hard to believe the game can be satisfyingly complex without menus. I saw the word "streamlined" a lot in the PCG review.

After seeing more footage, I will be waiting for the Switch release. That seems like the best way to experience a game in this style.

Regarding the menu thing, I don't have concerns about that. There's some depth to party management. Battle actions look contextual based on what you target. It is a shame they didn't also remove facing though. It's an extra couple buttons every turn and creates degenerate positioning on the grid.

Just wanted to tell people that 1.04(Build 5362145) is the last version before the nerf/changes.
That is the one you should play if you want the original hard experience.

I wonder if me flying home will end up in a huge tactical combat in efforts to save the world and universe. Last time that happened (in my mind) i was on a quest to brush my teeth but i had to buy a new toothbrush....
