It's interesting that PB games which are german are more slav than Witcher 3 which was made to appeal to the western crowd.
It's even more obvious from how they re-imagined Geralt.

How I saw him after books:

How he looked in the first game:

I think the magical madness of Turboslavism blends very well with Piranha Bytes' games, well done lads :salute:

Eh, I dunno. It may not be overtly Slavic, but I found it very, very Polish, in often subtle ways. Hell, it's half the reason I enjoyed the game.
Common misconception. You only think of it as "Polish" because Poland literally consists of ~50% German soil & soul.

Hey, I might buy it, but will probably actually play it after 6 months worth of patches later.
Das ist gut.
The important thing is to buy it, not when you play it. Some people are already prepared for the greatness that is Elex, other might have to wait a bit more before they can accept the incline.

I think I know already which mods are required - jetpack need to work on elex not for free. So you can place actually valuable loot in secluded corners, and not like it is now - at least as I heard - when you can't find decent loot in exploration.

I can't buy EEEELEEEEX until the 18-20th.
What do I do bros? Should I pirate it and buy it later or just wait?

Risen games are pretty good and didn't have any big bugs on release. Also vert stable games.

Yet to complete Risen but 2 & 3 worked almost flawlessly. Risen 3 had iffy performance with shadows and crashed maybe 3 times but Risen 2 only had 1 crash and some tree leaf flickering with great FPS at max settings, Risen 2 looked great in general.

Just wait and buy it. Although I know the excitement is hard to contain, you'll probably feel better booting up an official copy for the first time.

You've been waiting years for your first blowjob, you can wait two days for Elex

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
I'm taking a look at the factions. The clerics condemn the use of Elex yet they use it to power their machines. Unless the devs are atheists trying to imply religions are hypocritical, that's really retarded.

btw I'm prob gonna be an outlaw. It sounds the least stupid faction of the 4.
they condemn the use of elex on human body because it take away your emotion and for non master race (albs) they mutate you, but machines are fine. probably that, i dont see how it is retarted at all

Guys.... Any chance this will be actually good? :/ That combat looks so... Scripted?

Yes, there is a big chance this will be good. What do you mean by the combat looks scripted? Also, if combat is the main reason you want to play this, it might not be what you're looking for.

On the contrary, I'm the ultimate storyfag. And one of biggest Gothicfags in the world, at that. I dont know, it just looks kinda clunky. Way too clunky and choppy. Those jumps, and fake slashes.

For me, it's honestly part of the charm - love that Gothic run animation! A slower paced combat with heavy hits is definitely what I'd prefer for a game like this. Jerky, clunky animations are almost a PB staple now. It certainly doesn't excuse them, but I'm not sure how I would feel if I was playing a PB Gothic-like game with AAA animations and fluid combat. They are also still developing on the same engine they've been using for years, so that would explain it too. Regardless, what's really important to me is that the combat is actually reliant on RPG mechanics, and not just the action.

If you're one of the biggest Gothicfags in the world, as I am too, then I don't see any reason not to get this.
