no launch discount is :decline:

It was $34 at GOG for me, is it some kind of VIP discount?

Maybe you get a discount if you already own Underrail? I just checked GOG and it says 40 for me.

I owned Underrail on Steam, so that can't be it. So weird. In fact, it's $40 now if I want to buy a second copy to gift... but I paid $34 a few hours ago. Bonus for wishlisting? Who knows?

What....what if it's not an RPG but it's a fucking good game

What if it's the Torment spiritual sequel we never got + Sanitarium spiritual sequel + a dose of communist mania that sat on the shelf too long and went funky

Just took my shoes and pants off in front of my colleague Kim Kitsuragi to improve my chances of leaping to retrieve my drunkenly lost officer's cloak with a successful Motorics roll. The gloriously successful jump taken in only my tighty-whiteys, shirt, tie, and dress socks restored some of the confidence and morale I had lost earlier in the day. Couldn't help but laugh out loud as the frame froze mid-leap after my successful skill check.

Yeah, this game is pretty damn good so far.

Character progression, equipment, roleplay, you missed a couple things there.

All of these are in Disco Elysium.

Adventure game with some skillchecks thrown into the mix to make it seem like an RPG.

RPG = literally skill checks and dice rolls

You imbecilic braindead cretin

Character progression, equipment, roleplay, you missed a couple things there. Like a train that is never late the neckbeard hipster arrives. And roleplay, don't forget to roleplay brah!
All of which are present in this game.

This is exactly what I did last thing before quitting for the night.

...I failed the check, got scared of heights and had a mental breakdown. :dealwithit:

Wow, so all of you mental breakdown f*censored*s went Psyche build, eh?

None of that nonsense for me, I went 5 in Intellect, and 3 and 3 in physical and coordination. I am an emotionally challenged chimp, but on the bright side, I just managed to knock Cuto the fuck out, which felt damn good. I even asked him "aaawww, does Cuto have a boo boo now?" in third person, outside the game.

Fucking brilliant so far.
I remember starting TTON and being bored after the first few lines of dialogue. Since then, I've always dreaded games where devs brag about X number of words, because most of it is just boring bullshit.

This, however, is absolutely stellar. The different parts of your psyche arguing with you pretty closely resembles what I usually think when I have to choose between dialogue choices, not knowing what the hell they even mean. Here it's just, like, take a leap of faith. I'm a sorry communist doomsayer cop, punched a kid, was made to feel terrible about *that night* and so far, still haven't looked into the mirror.

I love it. Shame it's so late and I have to work so much in the next few days.

I also feel like I have high level Inland Empire irl, which worries me a bit. The waking-up part had me convinced I could die right then and there, and boy, I tried. Like straight out of me waking up every day.
