Fixed neutral enemy morale penalty triggering multiple times.
Improved neutral NPC warning for campsite area.
HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGH.

And speaking of the mall SuicideBunny, did you have any issues with zombies outside the mall getting aggro after fighting the looters in the upper-left (Assuming topdown view and the front of the mall pointing down) area? They've got a camp in that shop area and there's a door to the south of the room and a door to the east. The door to the east going to a hallway that immediately has some double doors to the north for the back exit of the mall. The zombies out there were the ones that got pissed. Wasn't letting me leave combat until I opened the doors and gave 'em a thump. Originally thought it was just "Infected person gonna get back up" combat but after waiting a few turns I realized it was something else preventing combat from ending.

Also gonna stream some more DS in a few. I'll edit the post and throw the link up again but I'm gonna drink this tea, catch up on some internet since I've been gone all day, and pass out games in the gift thread first.

which mall are you talking about? i'm talking about the multifloor merc dungeon that has no zombies (starter area with two entrances, mall floor with two levels, hotel floor, hotel floor, possibly more hotel floors since there are stairs which i haven't gone up yet)... and man, that area makes me wish they hadn't fixed the party bug because i'd really like some additional mules to haul all the loot....

Must be a different mall. The mall I'm talking about is single level (As far as I know. Didn't have the carrying capacity to bother fully exploring/looting it yet) and had a bigass parking lot with a fire truck in it and a pile of zombies outside.

I think I've only seen two multi-floor maps thus far. Couple houses with basements, one being Bud's house and the other just being some random house IIRC.

Starting up the zombie whackin' since I think I've passed all the games out now. http://www.twitch.tv/m_hc

i meant single map maps. this thing is an actual dungeon. entrance map, mall map with two levels, each hotel floor is its own map, and there are at least 5 of those. i have some 20ish data items so far, and ran out of space for loot a long time ago.

hmm, i am starting to think this is one of the ways to an ending...

Sum-bitch. Getting some kinda wacky bug where I'm not getting my party. Trying to head to the truck stop south of the school. I check the job board and my bros are lined up to be in my party (And were the previous day) but they don't come with me. Tried de-jobbing them and re-partying them but it didn't take. Gonna try reloading, de-jobbing, exiting the job board, then re-partying and try again.

Edit: Nothing I tried worked. What happened (And what I attempted) starts at approximately 1 hour 15 minutes in http://www.twitch.tv/m_hc/b/596602602

Edit 2: Forgot to mention, during the random encounter
with the wounded guy and the other trying to get you to help, leading you into an ambush
I used negotiation twice to get them to drop their equipment and run away, but it looked like no items got added to my inventory and no items were on the ground. Not as big of an issue as the no-party thing but I figure it's worth mentioning since it just sprang to mind.

also, when changing hotel floors, the rest of my party disappeared from portraits and inv/char screens, and cannot be traded with (but they still follow), which makes them impossible to select (they were normal the first few floors, then gone, then appeared again on the helipad, then gone when i went down, including the exit map).

i wonder if both of those are connected. you could always try slotting somebody else or resting for a day.

also getting way more crashes with new patch. before it only crashed when i doubleclicked with lockpick, now it crashes seemingly randomly and much more frequently.

Day one patch breaks game. It plays fine for a few days before the map speed slows to a crawl and you don't get your party

Damn guys, really sorry about it, we got overwhelmed by the anxiety of fixing lots of things and we broke something else... We rolled back the build until we fix it. Again, our apologies.

Not sure if you are aware or not, but there are quite a lot (especially for the hour) of complaints on the Steam Boards over non-working saves after this roll back.

Uh... Fired the game up to see if the rollback got the party working again.

That was my save from before the rollback. Oddly enough "SHEPARDS" is from version 1.0 since I switched to a different save after that, and it seems to think that's fine.

Yesterday evening, an update was uploaded which caused a critical party issue in the build. We rolled back the build to the previous version. This caused some issues with saves made after the update. Those save games are not broken - we will be issuing a new patch today which will allow you to continue from those saved games.

We are really sorry about it, it won't happen again. Our anxiety to fix some issues made us work late in Saturday and we broke the game without intending to do so. We'll take our time for the following patch releases. We'll be releasing an update very soon with all fixes and game compatibility.

Are there console commands or something? i took a massive drop in morale because of killing some neutrals, like 200 points, but i only did it once, so i kinda wanna fix that.

so you would like to evade the consequences of your choices....?
:rpgcodex:

there are, but it would be just easier to boost morale by grabbing a memory editor like cheat engien or artmoney and giving yourself a ton of luxury items.

I wish more people would learn that having personal views is totally cool but mixing them with their professional lives impacts not just themselves but the company as well. Annie appears to come across as an 'official' voice of the company which gives the impression (rightly or wrongly) that the company holds the same views she does. I'd rather a gaming company just make games.
so having personal views is totally cool unless you actually express them on your personal twitter account?
either way, for any sane consumer it's better to wait until the roughest of the launch rollercoaster ride is over and the most obnoxious stuff is fixed.

Grab the Codex by the pussy Codex USB, 2014 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
I tried giving Dead State another chance, but I've decided I just don't like it. I'm uninstalling it, the end.

*sigh* really wanting to like the game, but it is marred with soooo many bugs, slow combat... it feels rushed.
I know its a indie game, but cmon, thats no excuse...

Might give it another go in a few months after some heavy patching.
