I landed on my PHATT35T L00T yet!
I was heading towards the military tents in Stary Sobor and mind you, it was truly dark this time. 1 AM. No moonlight faggotry lighting everything up. Pitch fucking black. At this point, I'm pretty much navigating blind, relying on sound for zombies and GPS for the environment. Cranked up brightness helps making out the environment but not so much with actually seeing players in camo/ghillie/black civilian or most zombies. Then I heard footsteps with the distinct lack of zombie noise. Somebody else was scavenging too and he was pretty close.
I thought about messaging him in case he had spotted me or wasn't alone and had cover and maybe his guys had me on their sights with night goggles, however far fetched that might or might not be. Just as I was about to hit chat key to copy & pasta my generic "friendly noob here, pls don't shoot" message, I spotted him. Coyote backpack, camo suit. The idiot was crouching by the doorway, checking out the loot inside the tent without going in, less than 10 meters away. Practically asking to get murdered! And I had a Bizon SD which rocks so I didn't waste another moment and headshotted that motherfucker right there right then.
I can only imagine the butthurt of being headshotted in pitch black.
And he had in his pack a
B-A-F aka Big Ass Fucker with three mags plus plenty of other stuff. Zeroing up to 1800m! I've never found this rifle before. I thought they have taken it out. Gonna put it to field testing soon. Any suggestions for the locale, except for NW airfield?
I would probably sift through fifty of them if I had someone covering me but I haven't bothered exploring off the map yet.
Well, expect company: on two occasions, I found player corpses between the tents. I myself was once killed while placing new tents over there. And my placement of the tents is rather chaotic. Orientation and spacing is all over the place so it's hard to go through them systematically. But be my guest if you ever find the spot in the right server, I'm sure it will be worth your time
But I should move camp anyway.
